I think I might need help. Vol: Addiction

Its crazy when i hear dudes losing thousands of dollars like that at casinos. Last time i went to Vegas i was hurt just losing $200. That was enough to completely stop me from playing

You Have That Little Self Control That You Would Have To Ask Someone You've Never Met Before Not To Allow You To Do Something. Sound stupid to me, but if it works for others so be it

Gambling is a serious issue and I know how it is. It started in college for me when I was at UCSD and used to go to Barona like 4 days out of the week. I'd win small, lose big but it was the rush and hope that kept me going back. I would lose a few hundred here and there in black jack and it eventually added up. I started to play bigger after graduating when I had a job and each time I went to Vegas, I'd lose thousands.

I was there for work for a whole week and was going to try and make money to pay for my brazil world cup trip. Instead of making money, I lost enough money that I could have booked first class tickets to Brazil round trip. The money I lost that week could have paid for my whole trip but instead, I blew it. I would drink more as I would lose more and the playing got wreckless and I kept playing even though I was in a slump.

After losing that much so many times, I realized gambling isn't for me and I prefer to make money through my job. I've learned the value of money more and even though I played by the book and didn't make stupid calls during black jack, I won small and lost huge. I still go back to Vegas with my gf for fun but I gamble with about 200 dollars now and play small for fun. If I lose it, I'm done for the trip. I know the consequences and how crappy it feels to lose huge and I don't ever want to put myself in that position again.

It's hard to quit gambling but you have to draw the line at some point. I've seen so many people lose their cars/houses etc from gambling and it's sad to see.

crazy how I know you to. how the hell do you have 10k to blow? why do you need money so damn bad?

how to quit? I always tell myself, "would I rather lose/spend money for a possible come up, or spend money knowing ill have a good time"

spending money having a good time and food > gambling

Quitting gambling is easy, I quit 10 times OP.
But good luck Man. My only advice is to quit cold turkey.

Some of yall give ****** advice. This dude is saying he has a problem and yall telling him it's okay to keep going

it's fine if he keeps gambling, but maybe a little less paper. Only he himself can determine the strength of the issue

It's the rush you feel when you think about winning big. Definitely seek help cause you can end up homeless or just broke. No broke boys over here, papi.

Just shut the hell up

From what I see OP is just not happy he lost, it happens. Not all of you are gamblers so you don't understand that what he lost is not that much. Everyone's situation is different and it's a lot of money don't get me wrong but in the grand scheme of gambling he did not lose that much paper. As he said himself he won and then lost all that money in the matter of minutes. There are people that go $10000+ a hand in baccarat.
The issue here is he doesn't know how to stop when he's ahead which happens to me to. You will get that with experience and age. Try playing something slower paced like poker, you will not have the same speed of losing like blackjack or roulette

You just fall deeper and deeper into a hole of stupid with every post. Are you addicted to looking dumb?

Ya you dudes telling him to just gamble less etc I hope are just joking. Dude is admitting he's addicted and has a problem. He can't control it and is seeking help. Best advice is to just cut your loses now and just take it as a lesson. You continue down this path and it may ruin your life bro.

****. I lost a dolla and got the **** up outta there.

Man that boy assassin is hurt.

He could use some milk too.

Emotion leaking out his post like blood from the coronary artery. You know he's been there.
Yea He's Very Touchy On The Gambling Thing.

Op, if you make $1000 a week and are spending 2gs up in there weekly then you need to fall back a little. Now if you got lit, won a few racks and got greedy and lost it back that's on you, that ain't no addiction talking, you just got greedy, it happens to the best of us. I personally have been on a gambling cleanse for the past month and a half but going to ac this weekend

definitely quit or get help... its not cool to lose money...im never a big gambler and just losing a 100 at the casino makes me angry not to the extent i want to win it back and try again but just having less money in my pocket than before...for me i rather go shopping then gamble because at least i get to keep those items
