Did you have the whole party experience? College parties, Spring Break, Nightlife, Office Flings etc?
All last week I was kind of down about how much my life has changed drastically; without reflecting onthe past few years I haven't thought about my late teens and early twenties.Got together with old friends this holiday weekend that flew in from all over. Had quite a lot to drink, talking about the "glory days". I truly was the man, I was there for every big party, best treatment at every "it" club, and my share of "lucky nights" with the most gorgeous college co-eds who were out of my league. Stories from Spring Break that no one would believe unless they were there, and when I entered the white collar sector I literally smashed every female in my department except my department head who was married, but we still made out, a girl fresh out of high school who didn't smash black guys, and a racist.
Even the waitress at the bar was being extra with me, however we've all moved on in life and as I see these younger guys now, and it just look like they didn't do it like guys my age did it when we turned up. I'm from the 80's so when we reached 17-18 in 2000 it was different back then, to be an average black guy and smash anything you want was really impressive back then. Just look at shows like The Real World from 1998-2006'ish, the typical "white alpha" was every woman's ideal choice still, at least for social aesthetics. Not like today. Your swag and money had to be CORRECT back then, there was no Priceline.com etc...you had to PAY to travel and the nicest accommodations to "play".
If you lived a life similar or better than mine, what are you doing now? How do you feel about reaching a new stage in adulthood? What do you with yourself these days? Are you still partying? Do you feel like they best days are over? Did you go through withdraws like I did?
Or did you live a straight laced life and have regrets? Share your stories.
...I know GoldenArmz is WAY older than me, but he used to post pics back in like 05-06 and he was LIVING! I've seen pics of him recently and I don't know him like that but I'm kind of worried, he looks like he's going through something.
