News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

They needed Magneto to help convince mystique of the urgency of the situation. I think if future/past Mags had a heart to heart like future/past Charles did the movie would have been different. They were counting on him just being convinced based on being told his species being on the verge of extinction due to his actions. In true scumbag fashion past Mags just goes for it.

The QS issue never really bothered me. They only needed him to get Magneto. He had no connection to Mystique (the mission) so at the point when he left there was no reason to recruit him further. I've heard the argument that Wolverine knowing his lineage probably didn't want to contaminate the timeline further. I don't buy that though.

Honestly they could have goaded QS to get Mystique by betting him that he wasn't fast enough to catch her. Play to his ego. Anyway they really did introduce a character that could have solve all their problems.

One scene I wish they didn't erase was the Rogue captured by the sentinels.

All you really have to do is tell QS to knock down the blue chick when she shows herself when they were in that other country at that summit meeting. They could take it from there by locking her up or waiting for Charles to get his powers back to show her they're telling the truth about the future. Easier task than freeing Magneto. Of course the movie ends quicker since there was no real threat in the past, just some prototype sentinels that aint make a move until the end and then got turned by who? Magneto to raise hell at the White house

Magneto wasn't needed. He literally made things worse

You're forgetting that the only reason they even thought to get QS was to free Magneto.
That's what I'm saying though. They think of QS to help free Mags. You'd think one the 2 geniuses would say why not just use this speedster to stop Mystique instead.

Magneto never actually talks to Mystique until it's too late. He argues on the plane and when he sees her tries to kill her. Then dips

Plus they didnt think magneto would turn on them.

Another thing is they knew magneto was needed to bring all mutants together either way. For protection/leadership

I hear ya. I mean they technically did stop her. But you're right Mags just went full scumbag after that.

Exactly. The initial mission was over. After that was when they parted ways so to speak. Technically during the mission.

Seriously did anyone not think Mags was going to go full scumbag? He just found out someone is creating robots that in the future will eradicate his people. It was the most obvious heel turn in the age of mutants

Well it's what I love about the character and what I definitely saw coming once you get in to things. That argument on the plane set up all of his future scumbag Mag moves for the rest of the movie.

Well in fairness wolverines mission was to "persuade" Charles AND magneto to join forces. They thought they had him with the "it's for the mutants" lingo but magneto is too pimp

yeah. Like Magneto went rogue just for the sake of it, not realizing or probably not caring that it could be bad

Seen Big Hero Six.........

Yo......when they enter the Void......it was breathtakingly beautiful. I really want to turn my walls in my room with whatever psychedelic **** that was floating around in there. I could hear the audience gasp at how amazing that scene looked.

You know what... that's what made that movie, the unnecessary heel turn. While DoFP is a good movie, its still not better than Cap2

I am one of the very few who still has faith (well not faith, hope is a better word I guess) at the F4 film but I just have to say what the hell!!!! if this plot is true.

Reed is a genius convenience store clerk with Ben. Reed's parents don't care about him, and Ben's dad is abusive. They're good friends and have each other's backs. Reed writes a paper for community college on teleportation that attracts the attention of Dr. Franklin Storm, CEO of the Baxter Building research center.

Storm has a son, Johnny, and an adoptive daughter, Sue, whose father, Storm's old partner, died in an experiment gone wrong. Johnny and Sue are party kids, and Sue is particularly disdainful of science. Reed and Sue don't get along at first.

Victor Doomashev is a anti-social Eastern European computer programmer and hacktivist who calls himself "Doom". He hates the 1%, particularly Storm, whom he claims corrupts science for profit.

Storm uses Reed's paper to complete some equations on a machine to access another dimension, the N-Zone. Reed invites Ben to watch the machine being turned on. Sue and Johnny are also there. Doom manages to hack into the Baxter Building's servers and use a computer virus to damage the machine, which explodes. Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben are exposed to otherwordly energy and become mutants with powers that they can't control.

Storm takes them to the Baxter Building and creates containment suits for their powers. They begin to train. Reed and Storm also begin developing a way to revert the accident. Sue blames Reed for everything, but they eventually become friends and then a couple. Ben can switch off his powers when he's not in danger. Johnny changes colors based on heat intensity, and Sue has some borderline telekinetic thing. Reed is pretty much Reed.

Doom finds out that the four have acquired powers and becomes angry it's not him, so he comes up with a plan to break into the Baxter Building to access the N-Zone through the rebuild machine. As a distraction, he reprograms a bunch of stolen military drones, the "Doombots", to attack the building. The four come together as a team for the first time and save people.

Doom activates the machine and gets technopathy powers or something, basically energy blasts and making machines obey to him, and a fight ensues. The machine goes critical, and, in order to prevent it from exploding and destroying the city, the four push into it and Storm shuts it off.

There's a countdown before it reaches critical mass. Inside the N-Zone, the four battle Doom again, and manage to leave him trapped there after he disfigures himself soaking up too much power. The Four manage to escape, but Ben gets the blunt of it to protect Reed and can't switch back.

The machine is destroyed, Doom is gone, the four have learned to work as a team, and Reed vows to find a cure for Ben. And it ends there.

Technopathy?!?!

Why is everyone always trying to change the perfection that is Doom. Brilliant Super Genius, High Level Magic user. How is that so hard to grasp!?!?!?

Sounds so trash... Guess they are trying to ruin FF for when marvel gets it back. If this is the story I won't be supporting this garbage...

They've made FF a parody of gritty remakes. The equivalent of making power Rangers and having the red ranger be a drug addict, and the pink ranger have abusive parents

So turrible.

Doesn't even seem they went the gritty route or parody of that. Just lame.

:x Wow. Pretty much seems like Landis and these other fools at FOX took the Ultimate FF origin plot and butchered the origins of the origin :smh:

They basically took out the genius teenager think tank and replaced it for lame ****. Reed is a store clerk? Also made Sue just another vapid dumb blond, opposite of her UU version who was a scientist and actually worse so than her version in the main MU.

Overall

Hope ppl leave theaters hal way through booing if this plot is true.

Ask for their money back as well.

Magneto is the only reason to watch these trash movies

Fox is a joke with theseveral F4 rumors. Sad that most of it will be true. Take someone who would whoop superman and turn him into a joke. :smh:

I'm just gonna wait to bootleg. That says something considering X-Men is currently at "I'll watch in theatres if nothing else drops" level of decency.
