NT: The People v OJ / 30 for 30: OJ

Definitely wasn't ready for those from scene photos. I mean, I've seen enough Cold Case and CSI Miami, but actual crime scene photos are entirely different

One thing this whole saga did well was expose the mediocrity in public service. Too much take their jobs as just a paycheck and ended up looking a ******* fool on national tv.

+1. Main thing that stood out to me. It makes logical sense though. Anyone who graduates near the top of their class from a prestigious law school gonna be sitting on a fat retainer and/or working corporate. That mediocre gov. paycheck attracts mediocre talent and ambitions.

Anyway, always wondered why/how the pair of gloves would get split up like that. One at the crime scene, one coincidentally at the suspect's crib. Also, the point about the blood not drying in almost 8 hours, dude looked shook.

I just dont think OJ was a killer. He was a sellout, corny, clown, abusive but I dont think he did the killing. Goldman had defensive marks on his hands like he was in a fight OJ had no marks other than that cut on his finger.

It's funny how Marcia Clark blames everybody but herself for losing the case.

I kinda felt for Chris Durden cuz they only brought him to be a mascot. Like "look black people we have a black man on our team too".

What I wish people took away from this doc is that all these institutions of"justice" are deeply flawed. Those who enforce it to those that work in it, it's all corrupted and flawed.

I had a federal case as a juror and I thought to myself everyday. We are not getting a proper breakdown of what the law is and how to interpret certain evidence correctly. It was a mess. And then to expect some random **** to have common sense to leave the biases aside, is baffling. I don't trust my peers with my life.

I just finished watching Part 5. I found it funny and sad at the same time.

I don't even know where to begin on who the biggest piece of **** was in this entire doc...

Dude got screwed so hard in the end. He was such an idiot though. Dude couldn't just lay low and be with his family

Let's start with the Thomas Riccio cat. What a sleaze. And he's happy to be labeled a rat. No honor. Sure OJ was an idiot and had no business in that room but damn.

"Two year crime dripping wet".

Here are my candidates:
Furman
Ted Lange
The pilot
Most of OJ's friends

But the star of the doc is:
This fool said "if the jury was mexican  we would have staged a pinata at oj's house."

Yo it's crazy how the defense threw this whole case off. Gotdamn.

Funny how Johnny touched a nerve on white people tho.

Clear as day OJ is a POS

Johnny had chris darden who waaaaaaay blacker than oj and flipped the script and made chris look like the house n.

Im just saying we would have made real juice out that man.... theybwould have found blood gloves at my housr

Wanted to smack Furhman in the face more and more as this doc went on. Dude was trying to paint himself as reformed, yet had so much clear hatred that he couldn't hide it at all

Too much shady sh was going down that could lead you to believe that he was framed...such as the lead detective actually saying that "we frame nwords",jumping the gate without a search warrant and discovering the smoking gun. Couple that with oj's blood being brought to the crime scene and the specialist admits that it's never done. That old lady juror was keeping it so onehunnid that I thought they were gonna try to put HER in jail. (when she said they voted not guilty as revenge for rodney King)

Dude confirmed everything black people been saying about police. That evidence meant nothing when it came out that a racist, dirty cop found everything. And the rest of them dirty cops handled the evidence wrong. Even if OJ did do it they blew it.

Yall are really that dense?

Your still arguing about whether OJ did it or not?

Too much corruption and leeches surrounding this thing to act like it's clear as day that he did it. What else was there, the word of an unhinged, desperate for money oj? Slow your strut. That being said though, if these folks were good at their job, this would have been a closed case in favor of guilty decades ago.

OJ is 100% innocent of those murders. It's clear as day. Whether he actually did it or not is another story, but the defense, thanks in large part to furhman, did enough to cast enough reasonable doubt to say someone else could have done it.

Do I honestly think he did it? I legit don't know. There's compelling evidence that suggest he did and didn't do it. It's why we're still talking about it over a decade later. One thing I think we can all agree on however, is that the police not looking into others as potential suspects is extremely irresponsible, considering the type of lifestyle Goldman and Nicole were living at that time.

Ron Goldman was in a fight for his life, so it would seem that if OJ committed those murders he would have more than just a small cut on his hand. (But what I disagree with you all on is that he should remember where a cut like that happened with his hand. It was a small cut, but it wasn't so small that he would forget what happened. That's hella sketch, then providing 3 different reasons for why the cut is there? Come on, that's weird as hell.) Also, OJ was beyond washed, and I seriously doubt he could murder two people that gruesomely with just a knife w/o sustaining some serious injury. When you think about it, it's almost silly to think he did this alone if you believe that he did it.

Then when you factor in the drug culture that Ron and Nicole were in at the time? Come on, that should have been looked into immediately. The fact that they didn't bother could suggest set up. The restaurant Ron worked at and Nicole frequented was the center for the drug trade and drug culture in brentwood at the time. Not to mention others who were essentially of the same culture and make up of ron and nicole came up dead and missing just like them. I could easily see some drug dealings and happenings going bad resulting in their gruesome murders.

But, those murders were extremely gruesome.

Murders like that reek of passion killings. Personal killings. And OJ beat the hell out of nicole, stating he was going to kill her multiple times, had envy and jealousy issues when it came to her, so its just as likely that he put a hit out on her once he realized that he couldn't control her anymore and that she was moving on from him.

It's a highly typical "if I can't have you no one can" sort of thing. I could totally see him setting it up, and right before going to chicago dropping by to make sure everything went smooth. It really does appear that he was at the crime scene that night. And if people aren't lying in the doc, then he obviously had something to do with it. I still contest that even if he did, he didn't do it alone and had help.

Some other takeaways

- I legit got sad for OJ for a second when I saw them tear rockingham down. That sucked. Iconic home, legendary.

- The Jury had OJ innocent from the start. They went so far as to admit that it was revenge for Rodney King. Homie even threw up the black power signal at OJ after the verdict. I for one think its clear as day that they got it right, but it does suck that we live in a society where openly bias people are the jurors in double murder cases. Prosecution had no shot no matter how great the evidence was.

- Beyond a reasonable doubt. There is no way you could listen to those furhman tapes and think OJ was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. No way could you see them bringing OJ's blood to the crime scene and think he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Nicole was a thot and getting tossed up before, during, and after OJ. The fact that OJ raped her on their first date, and her reaction to that being "I think I really like him" is sick. What's also sick is messing w/a married man with kids. If that ain't a ***, then I don't know what is.

- The place where he met Nicole, when she was just a teen and them saying it didn't matter if the girls were underaged is sick, but I've long held the belief that Hollywood and celebrity go by a different standard when it comes to pedophilia. I can only imagine what kind of young girls they had in there to "service" those rich white elites during that time.
