View media item 254868"For y'all that think this isn't a good deal, do you watch the league outside of Mavs games?? Cause Tyson is still hands down the biggest game changer of anyone being moved. We're getting one of the most dominant defensive centers back on our squad. He's huge on the court and in the locker room. A real leader!! So we lose Calderon, and Larkin. Not really a concern when we have whole FA to look at other options. This is a huge get to lure other FA's too. They know what we are w Tyson!!! And that's a champion! Who wants to be a Mav now!??"

Is PJ a better/just as good of a defender as Shump?
I see both second-round picks as valuable. On the off-chance Hairston falls to #34. If not, K.J. McDaniels is one of my favorite sleeper candidates. Crazy athleticism but still developing a jump shot. If all else fails, Wilcox's shooting or Grant's athletic upside.Trade official. Peace out toothpick legs.
34th and 51st picks eh? Better than nothing. Make them count Phil.
Dolan's the moleThat means we had a mole amongst the front office who would go out telling the media what plans were brewing.
Phil did this with no type of speculation.
Stay away from Hairston, but that's my opinion.I see both second-round picks as valuable. On the off-chance Hairston falls to #34. If not, K.J. McDaniels is one of my favorite sleeper candidates. #51 could target Jabari Brown, Deonte Burton, or Khem Birch.
PJ can be a good defender, he definitely has the tools but he can be inconsistent due to effort. When he wants to he's a good defensive player. He's already better offensively than Shumpert ever has been though. He's a bit of a head case but I think being away from North Carolina would benefit him more than anything. Is PJ a better/just as good of a defender as Shump?
Nope
Hairston is much more of a scorer than an really good defender
write a letter to the scouting departmentJust don't draft any foreigners
I feel like we've drafted more foreign players than any other team and none of them have worked out for us.
I think Tyson gonna have a great year in Dallas though.
I think Minnesota has us beat, but I'm with you...sorta. The greek player looks really good.Just don't draft any foreigners

I don't want to take any huge risks with these picks/gifts
So no Capela, Micic, Bogdanovic.Just don't draft any foreigners :x
