Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Hey, so  I've heard some say that Sand-Knit never added names on back of jerseys, but is that really true?

Because I noticed that near the end of their run, when they switched the logo to the crown, they also made the upper back area wider.

Before that, they had an oddly narrow back. (So narrow, a 6-letter long name could barely fit)

Here's an example of their later ('89-'90) jerseys. Do you guys think the name was added later?

Those are dope sir. I wonder what yea my pair is from because the NBA logo and nike check is different on my pair.
Still need the red pair and the black pin stripes in my life. Here are my bulls shorts. Love authentic shorts man.

That worthy is awesome ! How did I missed it ...?
I have the same jersey but magic and there is no name in back. Not a true specialist of SK but I think the name has been added after.

I believe that the names were put on the backs towards the end of the sand knit era but I'm not sure. Here's my Worthy for comparison (a size 48). I don't know if the name was added on later thouugh...

It was under the "Autographs" section. I think a lot of people miss those.

Awesome jersey. Thanks for sharing.

First thing that stood out was the difference in "R" shape.

I guess I'll never know the truth.

Do you guys know if there were legal issues that prevented Sand-Knit from adding names? Were they just lazy/cheap? or maybe they thought customers preferred not to have someones name.. ?
 
MN usually put new jerseys out a few months before the particular sport season starts?

Thats what I was going for. I offered the dude $100 because the auction didn't receive a bid and he was adamant on the $140, oh well I'm in no hurries to buy things right now

My experience with him: Every purchase I made from him so far I had to return it. His "Mint" Used items are best 8/10. And he just throw the Jerseys into a bag without even folding them correctly. Numbers comes creased and wrinkled. Oh and some hairs as well....
 
Plus the price tag look weird and the year jocktag with that font usually have the player's name.
