A franchise point guard that just turned 22, a very good 24 year old stretch forward, a very skilled 21 year old 7 footer and basically a lottery pick in this year's draft. Yeah, I'd much rather get just Brook Lopez's 6 boards a game or wait a year and get nothing. Dwight ain't gonna stand pat and chill in Orlando for another whole year, dude is gonna be traded this summer and the Mavericks have not one damn thing that the Magic would be interested in. Dwight either goes to Brooklyn, Philly, LA or OKC.

Lol wut?
They won a championship and he was/is still one of the premier big guys in the league. He's definitely not worth 21 mil, but saying they goofed is making you look like a goof.

All I'm saying is that it's #!% backwards for KG to be making 21.1 mil at age 36. He's not the Big Ticket anymore

Did you not see what KG did this post-season/2nd half of the regular season?! First ballot Hall-of-Famer.

scoring on Levoy Allen and Udonis Haslem in the post doesn't warrant 21mil

Where Deron goes, Dwight will follow...
It doesn't matter whether he gets traded or not.. He's not signing an extension. He's going to wait and play out his options...

@ Jrue being a franchise point guard... *shrugs* Even if Philly blew a load and got him for a year, that's all they'd have him. There's a snowball's chance in hell he would sign with Philadelphia long term. No chance whatsoever.

The Nets have no interest in sending Deron Williams to the Lakers in exchange for a package headlined by Pau Gasol.

The Lakers have continued to express interest in a sign-and-trade, but the Nets will only consider such a move if they are getting back Andrew Bynum, whom the Lakers have not made available.
This is what I been thinking and saying.

@ all those pics of Iggy with Deron and/or Dwight like that's suppose to imply or signify something. That was really funny. I will say all 3 teaming up would be a good team but unlikely because of Iggy's current contract.

I've said it forever now, but Dwight for Wade made too much sense if the Heat didn't win this year. It would NEVER happen, but basketball-wise? Perfect sense.

Basketball wise for the Heat, yeah. That doesn't help the Magic at all if they're trying to rebuild like the Thunder. Wouldn't happen anyway.

OKC would have to give up too much IMO. Brooklyn or L.A. are teams that come to mind. I'd easily give up Bynum and some players for Dwight if I'm L.A.
If I'm the Nets, I'd send whoever packing if it meant keeping D Will and landing D12.

The Nets don't have much to give up so they would probably ask for Lopez, Marshon Brooks, Morrow and their 1st rounder next year. Not sure how the definition of a stiff, a 26 year old 3 point specialist that averages a career 12 points 3 rebounds and 1 assists a game, Jamal Crawford's little brother and what would end up being a late 1st rounder helps the Magic rebuild....but if Dwight says he won't sign anywhere else but there that's probably what they're gonna have to do.

You've gotta wonder with Bynum though if the Magic really want to straight up swap for another center that will probably leave the same time Dwight would...

You'd have to think they'd want an extension in place before they made that move, or else, why do it? You're not better off for the future and Bynum isn't going to want to be in a rebuilding project any more than Dwight does... It's not like the Lakers can give you anything other than that.

Bynum likes his toys, and doesn't get much in terms of endorsements. The Magic would have his bird rights in such a case, and would very likely be able to re-sign him. I know many of these "stars" seem willing to do whatever to play on a contender, but for most money is still the motive.

I really cannot wait til the Mavericks don't end up with a damn thing and turn into what the Suns have become the last couple years with Nash. And I like Dirk, but I'm tired of hearing this make believe #$+% that they're going to sign Deron and Dwight.

Pau for Deron?

Yeah, ok, Mitch.
laugh.gif

You down a triple shot of stupid before picking up the phone to make that offer?

Well, I mean, last year, the Mavs did end up w/ the number one thing that every sports team hopes to get.

He doesn't realize much of anything, but that's nothing new.

The Mavs either sign Deron or he goes back to Brooklyn. If they sign him, they're going to get Dwight. Those two dudes have HAD this planned. They're going to play together one way or another, it's just a matter of where.

No way in hell Deron comes to Dallas.

I mean Dallas doesn't have ANY pieces to get better if they sign Deron.

I mean just look how they built their championship team

The hell does that have to do with anything? This year they barely made the playoffs, got swept in the 1st round, and don't have a single piece that you can really say you wanna keep around besides maybe The Legend of the Untouchable Roddy Beaubois.

Ummmm... it has to do w/ the fact that the Mavs recent history includes a championship while the Suns entire history... doesn't. "They're just like the Suns, except they won a ring."

Oh.

So they're completely different than the Suns.

Hmmm looks at list of free agents
I would like the Sixers to sign Nick Young (for no more than 4 mill), Marcus Camby (for Vets min), resign Lavoy, amensty Brand, sign Ivan Johnson, sign Aaron Brooks (dont know how much they would want but I know they wont cost much)
As for the draft I would them to draft a big man in the first preferably a tall center (6'10" and up) and then a scorer in the second or simply the best player available
I already know the whole Dwight or Deron to Philly stuff is NOT happening so idc about that lol
I think with the right moves the Sixers could really come out looking strong in 2012

EDIT: Just noticed that Brooks is a restricted FA so scratch him out lol, I would just like a scoring guard or somebody who can run the point effectively in his place, Dragic would be nice in his spot. I know all of this aint gonna happen tho lol

Also an Iguodala trade would be nice if its for the right player/players/draft pick or draft picks

SIDENOTE: Wonder where one of my favs, Gerald Wallace is gonna go. I have a feeling hes gonna end up as trade bait for Dwight n eventually end up in Orlando if resigns with the Nets smh

The %$$$ is this guy talking about? I said they're going to end up just like the Suns of 2010-current once Deron and Dwight don't come and they're stuck with an aging superstar and a bunch of crap.

Kings don't plan on extending Evans, most likely he gets traded, it would be interesting to see if he can land with a contender

laugh.gif
Except they'll still be loaded with cap space and have an owner that isn't a cheap piece of %%%! and is 100% committed to winning...

The Suns are where they are because Robert Sarver is cheap and isn't committed to winning.

You really are brain dead, aren't you?
