Ordered the Butterscotch 997 when i was drunk (smh), but we'll see how they look when they get here, lots of pics looking of em though
 
 
Well I just got home from college and realized that my foot has grown a half size. Looks like 40 pairs of shoes are down the drain.  If anyone wants to size swap some size 8 997's for my 7.5's, HMU :frown:
I don't have any 8's but I wear a 7-7.5. If you decide to sell let me know what you got VIA PM.
 
Emailed help@jcrew.com & cc'd contactus@jcrew.com yesterday about the 15% code, and woke up to two emails. One from customer service saying they'll apply it as a one time courtesy & how new NB's are typically excluded from those promotions, and another for a receipt. $176.60 feels so much better than $221. Now I can enjoy the rest of my vacay.

been looking for an 11, whered you get them from?

Happy for you! But it freaking bugs me out I receive the same *** answer every time: I'm sorry, but can't be applied to 3rd party stuff... That jcrew uses two standards when it comes to discount codes just sucks. :smh:

Yup I asked them too and they didn't accept the student discount
 
Can't believe the Butterscotch's sold out over the weekend! I bet some stores still have some left in stock, which is funny b/c only in store do you get the special packaging, but online with regular packaging is already depleted. Glad i have my in store pair sitting at home. Has anyone looked at how many pairs, and the extreme prices of these on the Bay? If they really end up selling for $400-$500, how can i justify keeping my pair, and not doubling my money? I need to just go ahead and wear them and ruin them being DS so i'm not tempted to list them anymore...LOL

I asked in store as well, when i bought them, if they could apply the 15% student discount, and they said they couldn't because it's a promotional event. Would be nice if i could get Customer Service to apply this after the fact....I will have to email them and at least try. I shop there a lot, so hopefully they'll do it because i'm a loyal/frequent customer.

Totally guessing, but from what I read, most instore drops had 27-30 pairs x 20 shops = max of 600 boxed pairs worldwide.  ebay prices are pretty silly but low inventory of wooden boxes will inflate any reseller prices.  Seems like half the instore pairs ended up for resale.

Yeah, I saw an eBay listing for my size 10 and he posted a receipt at 10:08AM from the closet store that had them (South Coast Plaza). However I live in San Diego and it would have been an 80 mile drive. It was not worth it for me because I wasn't too crazy about the brown color. However seller is asking for a relatively cheap $330 + free shipping compared to other eBay listings.

In this case J.crew wasn't joking about the "extremely limited" warning.

^^^ They were available for about 24 hours with a full size run....the only thing limited about this was the box
I would assume they aren't that limited either, but having said that, "old man shoes," that cost $220 aren't always an instant sell out, so I can see why they'd be on the site for a while

I get that pretty often for some reason. I just wait an hour and try again and it usually ends up working. You're definitely not banned or anything like that.

It means exactly what it says, I mean you could just pick up the phone and get a more straight forward answer.

You have to ask, if you go back I'sure they'll have. Also as far as the student discount goes it all depends on the rep you get and they generally let it slide once per a customer but you'll probablyhave to wine and complain multiple times to different reps
