I feel like I'm not listening to the same album as the rest of you... I like this album waaaaaaaay more than HHNF... Pharrell's production on thisalbum is 100x better than HHNF: Freedom, Kinda Like a Big Deal, Popular Demand, Door Man, I'm Good, Counseling, Champion, Life Change > anything fromHHNF imo... Furthermore Khalil is def. becoming one of my fav. producers...

You can usually tell the difference. Pharrell's solo beats usually have a simple,repititive loop, but when they both work together their beatsare much more complex. Take pharrell's "In My Mind" CD for example, he solo produced that album and it was trash, and he uses the same types ofbeats for many neptunes tracks today. you don't have to be in the studio with them to notice the difference.Originally Posted by NuMba1KiCkrocka

The thing with Chad is he can actually play, and chooses better sounds. Most of Pharrell's beats are sloppy. P's work on TTCD is alright Iguess.
