Got a pair in the mail today
- leather seems a little lower quality than my circa 2013 black pair ?
- neither pump seems to want to do anything either. Do they have a break in period? I can't remember how it was with my black ones.

Pump's should work right away, all my 14 pairs from the last retros work with no problem.

Pumps have been garbage on all the recent retros. Really hit or miss with a 50/50 split on being functional and non functional.
Surprised about the leather quality though, do you think they swapped it to a vinyl/leatherette?
