Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003, lawyers with knowledge of the results told The New York Times.

The two were key members of the Boston Red Sox World Series teams in 2004 and 2007.

At this point it is what it is. Baseball let it get to this point by allowing players to test positive and there being no consequence. You cant blame theplayers really when MLB basically said go ahead since its getting fans to come to the games.

see this is where i start to have a problem ... ortiz was garbage, then all of a sudden is a beast ... then mlb starts rigidly testing and he sucks again ...this isnt an a-rod or barry bonds type scenario, seems that this dude is great completely because of roids ...
