They blew it. They were Tied for 7th Best Single Season Wins All-Time.

All I see is opportunistic.
Make no mistake, they are Champions. They are well run. But the unbeatable, trumped up crap they get away with, that other teams/players do not, is bogus.
Lebron loses in the Finals with 2 starters out, he gets crucified. Duncan loses in the first round, hey, tough beat.

Spurs got everyone fooled, makin people think they've perfected the sport or some ****. Last year it was the shade they were throwin, hey, the Warriors were lucky they didn't have to face the Spurs. No, you bums couldn't get out the first round to meet the Warriors, Golden State was there waiting for you.
This year, same thing. Perfectly healthy squad, all the rest in the world, facing a torn up first round opponent, even more rest for them, win game 1 easy in round 2, the whole world just devours them wholly. "Will the Spurs ever lose again?" Duncan is on his way to his 6th title, what a player.

We sure did. We just saw him turn the clock back 10 years to when Duncan and the Spurs also lost in the 2nd round, with homecourt advantage. That consistency.
