Yeah, that was a bit weird. Even when the episodes aren't focused on the boys (or only focused on one of them), they'll insert them in some random way. I remember the episode after Obama won (in 200, everyone was rioting in the streets, and Cartman was in the episode for literally two seconds, dragging a stolen TV in a wagon and asking if anyone wanted to buy a TV.
