been that way for some time. i feel there was more talent distribution years ago than now. also i lowkey feel flopping is more prevalent in today's game. that's y the NBA has that fine rule but suck at enforcing.

Plus, the 90s/2000s had "hand checking", no zone defense, etc. you can't even elbow the air in modern day NBA. It's just like the NFL nowadays, soft, and offense-driven. That's why the NBA and NFL have more bad product, occasionally. Too many new rules in the NBA.

Hell, even the guy who started the spreading out f the NBA (D'Antoni) has tweaked his own offense a bit.
The Rockets of today are a better offense team than his Suns teams

defense is more COMPLEX b/c the very reasaons you just quoted.
You can't just HOLD your opponent b/c you're stronger than them. You have to actually MOVE your feet, and use HELP side defenders better
and no, scoring is not WAY up.
This isn't like the NFL where you're seeing mediocre QBs get 4k yards in passing.
How many players averaged over 30 ppg in the last 5 years vs the previous 10? If this were the case, 30 ppg scoreres would be way up and it's not.

An offensive set back then would be a pin down, or curl off double screen to get Tmac isolated on the wing....while the defense is set....and pat Garrity, Gordon's Gircek, Mike Miller and DJ Armstrong are bunched up....waiting on tmac to react.

Hell nah. You could play defense back then. He can't shoot and he definitely wasn't scoring on the big men back then.
Steve Francis would come close to averaging a triple today. Jason Kidd would average a triple... By far.
