Wrestling Thread Mar 5-11 | 3/9 Smackdown - A Night of Craziness

Jack Swagger is not good in the ring , hes !#%@ on the mic and looks goofy as !#%@. cant take him serious, same with mad people on wwe roster word to Miz, Heath Slater, Mason Ryan and Zack Ryder.

- There was talk this week of making the Money in the Bank ladder match a fixture at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, to make the event feel more special each year. There were rumors that the match and the MITB pay-per-view would be moved to July but at this point that’s not confirmed. The only thing confirmed is the July pay-per-view, whatever it may be, has been moved from Las Vegas to Phoenix.

- As noted before, last week’s RAW with the live return of The Rock did a low 3.1 rating with 4.65 million viewers. There was a lot of discussion within WWE about what that low rating meant – considering The Rock’s hyped return to confront John Cena did such a low number after they were expecting higher.

- It’s still up in the air whether Sin Cara or Rey Mysterio will be cleared to perform at WrestleMania 28 in Miami. WWE will still have one major Latin star on the card as Alberto Del Rio is ready to return. The hope is that Del Rio doesn’t re-injure his groin again from returning too soon.

WWE was hoping to book Mysterio vs. Cara for WrestleMania this year and try to break the world record for most people wearing masks at once in the same place. It’s said that even if Mysterio and Cara can’t compete, they can still appear for the world record angle, if WWE still decides to do it.

– Regarding the relationship between Dwayne Johnson and John Cena behind the scenes, while the two are cordial with each another, they are not the best of friends. There is genuine tension between both stars, which was said to have intensified in the weeks leading up to Survivor Series.

One former WWE insider who has worked with both Johnson and Cena said of their relationship: “They aren’t buddy-buddy, that’s for sure. I’ve heard they’ve disagreed about a lot of things. They aren’t big fans of one another personally, but they are willing to carry on with business.

In an interview with WAAF 97.7/107.3 on Monday morning WWE Champion CM Punk discussed his feelings on The Rock and his return to WWE. Punk surprisingly revealed that he is on John Cena‘s side in his feud with The Rock:

“I just think there’s a lot of us backstage and behind the scenes that bust our a– and we do it 365 days a year, and Rock just kinda comes in with his veneers and he’s smiling at everybody and – I don’t fault anyone for making money, he can make all the money he wants, but when he preaches about WWE, how much he loves it, and how much it’s family, and he loves being there, and nobody ever sees him because he goes right from his limo to his dressing room, from his dressing room to the ring, it’s a stark contrast – he says one thing and does another.

Santino with the US Title is a good look.

They have done absolutely nothing with this title as of late. Now that a popular superstar has it the WWE needs to capitalize on Santino's popularity and use it to make the US Title division actually mean something.

Just read on TMZ that Kharma did NOT have a baby..It says that the baby died before she could give birth and that she lied about actually having a healthy baby because she was very emotional and embarrassed after announcing on live TV that she was pregnant..SMH..That's a shame for anyone to have to go through..

Not saying I don't believe you but is there a better source than TMZ you or anyone else can post?

Sad story...
TMZ.com reported tonight that Kia Stevens (Kharma/Awesome Kong) has admitted she made up the story of giving birth to a baby boy on New Year's Eve.

Stevens said she was pregnant, but lost the baby, and lied to friends because she was afraid of telling the truth because so many people knew she was pregnant from television.  News of this had started to get out in the past week, although it had not been reported elsewhere, which likely explains her coming forward.

She said she would like to start a foundation for women who have had similar problems.

And a sad story in a completely different way...
TMZ.com reported tonight that a sex tape involving Hulk Hogan was being shopped to a major porn studio.

The story said the grainy footage shows Hogan getting undressed with a brunette who is not either his first or second wife lying on the bed.  It was not clear when this was shot.  Steve Hirsch of Vivid Video, who was a huge wrestling fan at least in the 80s if not still, said he was approached with the tape by a third party but he did not indicate whether he was making an offer to buy the tape.

Came in here to post the Kharma story.

Actually TMZ is one of the most credible sources on the net.

They're always right.

I knew something was iffy about that pregnancy. She came back for the rumble way too soon.
The rumble was 8 months give or take after ahe announced her pregnancy, it must suck to have that happen though.

this storyline between cena and the rock sucks. i'll cheer rocky any day over cena, but they should've made rocky just be a complete hollywood heel again like he was in 2003. when it comes to interviews/promos that was by far rocky's best. i mean dude drew so much heat, but was so entertaining that people had no choice but to mark out for him.

Late to the party. Finally caught my DVR of Raw..

I was laughing when I noticed Swagger's new hair. Took away any interest in the match with Santino, and when John Laurinaitis walked out, I just realized that Swagger and him have the same hair.

I'm also pissed off that Lawler continually gets mad at Daniel Bryan for bringing out AJ because she's in "harm's way." Why doesn't he show the same concern for Vicky, who's out there a lot more than AJ is on a weekly basis. Poor logic

Sheamus sucks.

John Cena last night during his promo before the Rock came out was actually "embracing the hate." Kane was indeed successful.

Bryan and Jericho.

- Ted DiBiase broke his ankle at last night's TV Tapings. It's been a rough time for DiBiase, who has been wearing a brace and working through a damaged wrist for several weeks.

I don't know if that was 5 stars, but it was damn close..Loved the pacing, the storytelling, the crowd's excitement..Very very good match..I guarantee you HHH and Undertaker could put on a match just like that at WM and 60% of the crowd would be dead..I hope ROH can get some more tv exposure cause what I've seen of it in the past month or two has been pretty damn good..

That Kharma story

Very sad. I really thought she had her baby, but never really backtracked the amount of months, but
was also wondering why no pics or anything came out.

I imagine Hogan, after numerous blows, having trouble getting hard.  He rolls over feeling defeated and retires to what appears to be a good night's rest.  Out of nowhere and in the middle of a dead sleep, he is up again and shaking his head from side to side furiously and starts wagging his finger and is ready to finish the job.

Good god, even McMahon's wrestlers' babies die early.
