Amen. I have been out off the loop for far too long, but being selective has become necessary with family, kids, and other obligations. Still, though, being selective makes me appreciate the CWs I am able to track down.

Just want to add my experience with these socks...bought a pair of the sz 8-12 from my local spot (my FTL doesn't even have 'em) because I have heard a lot of good things about these socks.  I played in them wearing a pair of the LeBron 8 V2s, loved the padding/cushioning, went back for more...

I like that USC CW, but if they are NikeIDs, where did the gum sole come from?

^clearly, we won't be able to get that Hyperfuse in that CW, but is that the closest thing that Nike is making to a Creamsicle CW this year? I haven't seen or heard anything so far...

I bought mine deadstock for around $125 shipped back in '06...they are rare, but the scuffing was so bad on these it was tough to keep 'em looking good. With the market like it is, I would be surprised to see them go for the same as they did 5 years ago...but I am no expert. GL!

I think all the "v1" CWs are alright, but if the "QK/v2" are going to release, I'd like to see those sooner than later.

I've just tried on the Christmas pair around the house, but I know the first time I wear them to class the tow boxes will crease like crazy.

I haven't played in them yet, but I am impressed with how the KD III fit. Since buying these and looking at the ASGs and the All Blacks, I am tempted to pick up at least 2 more pairs.

Good call...that makes me feel better about leaving the red laces in, even though I'm color blind 

D'Oh! I just realized that the accent color on the Christmas KD IIIs is Team Orange, not red... ...I guess my eyes are getting bad in my old age. I will try to find some blue or orange laces to match, now.

^Thanks! It's not the easiest shoe to find clothing to match with... I'd be interested to see what other NTers have found that coordinates with it.
