Just cut it all off all over and go get a shapeup from barber. Thats what I used to do when I didn't know how to cut.

I don't think anyone should attempt to do a Fade on themselves unless they know what they're doing.

If you are going to cut your own hair then you should do it all one length. It is alot easier.
