Sorry to be a downer, but those Gundams look like children’s shoes.

I kinda think that's the point. To have them look like the action figures/anime illustrations with toys and cartoons both being associated with children typically. I think the execution on these are dope. I don't won't them and wouldn't wear them either. Polarizing kicks are good though makes it easier for those that actually want the shoe to cop.

Thought I’d try these toasty dunks as they were a easy pickup on Nike UK. These are not amazing but will be a good shoe to beat up during the colder months. Just tried the lace flip but look better with the green.

This is what I still can't stand about newer SBs and why I barely stress over new ones. I feel like it's gotten even worse the last couple years, even though it's been the standard shape since blue box. The laces by the vamp are wider than the midfoot. Pardon my NFL on ESPN type illustrations but there's an hourglass figure look going on there. No disrespect to you cragmatic it's not your fault.

Meanwhile older pairs just look like how a dunk should look. Not sure how else to say it lol

Not even sure why they even change the mold up? Any idea?

I felt like this new mold on the lows and high run way to narrow, compare to the old mold!

They most definitely do. Went TTS on a pair of ambushes and was surprised how narrow they felt.

They re-worked the outsole, added lunarlon at the mid-foot, thinned out the outsole for better board feel, added the achilles pads on the low top pairs etc…They also added those overlay ollie guards on the bottom two eyelets…That’s why they look wider at the bottom now, because they have that extra piece of material on there…The originals were literally just regular Dunks with zoom insoles and padded tongues…The re-tooling was when Nike really tweaked the model to be a skate shoe…

Supreme used the OG mold for their upcoming highs…So they removed that extra ollie overlay and used the original lunarlon-less outsole with the wider rubber areas…Comparison with the Gundam’s as an example…
