Well of course they do. It's the same sole. No one is going to feel subtle leather differences from the inside of the shoe through socks.

That’s a lost cause imo. I think the people that are complaining about the leather are the same people that don’t wear their shoes.

They buy shoes. Inspect them like a forensics experts, then give their consensus about the leather

I have the 2013 black red 1s and I don’t think the leather is that far off or worse than what we get now. The only thing I don’t like about the pair I have is the height.
