I remember seeing the weird toebox sample pic from a Japanese magazine or something my memory is fuzzy but I never knew he wore them. Also I remember seeing him rock the 5 lock in carmines but can’t find the picAre you guys new here? I thought you were old (ish)

Ha! Those pics of the prototype were from a Nike shoot months before the VI released. First time I saw them was from an Air Jordan Flight Club 12-month calendar I got in 8th grade in 1990. Pretty sure the calendar came shrink-wrapped on a box of Wheaties. It was wild at the time to get that much of an early look at the next Air Jordan.
I was just surprised by the comments you guys made. Pics are well known and have been discussed a lot. All good, though.

Ok saw a post and vid saying ones with this label are actually not authentic anyone know about this?Gave in and ordered from StockX for 270$. Pair came in today. You guys can be the judge about the pink (hope it helps others on their decision). I will be rocking these regardless.
