Air Jordan 6 retro “Carmine” - Nike Air - February 13, 2021

We can see on the picture that the right airsole unit is more pressed by his right heel. But maybe his pair had 2 different air sole unit. 😁😁😁

They actually made the midsoles soft enough to compress back then, unlike the bricks we walk on now

OG Soles were open cell polyurethane and newer retros are closed cell polyurethane. Takes a little bit longer for new retros to crumble if at all. I will say, that I do miss the open cell, dyed soles. Not sure if its a possibility to dye closed cell, but it would be cool. I will admit that its an extreme request though.

Honestly the dyed soles were way less durable. The dye rubbed off pretty easy and you had to be really careful when cleaning the midsole.

Well, this is a 3 pair cop if/when it happens. And hopefully it’s true to the OG. I couldn’t do the 2014 version despite being gifted a discount.

Hmmm I never knew MJ would put the lace lock on the very bottom like that.

At one point, there were actual debates on where to put it. Those that said putting it on the bottom didn't understand why people thought it looked best at the bottom. If you knew... You knew
