We can see on the picture that the right airsole unit is more pressed by his right heel. But maybe his pair had 2 different air sole unit.

It definitely set itself apart from the original lineup. I remember thinking as a kid they matched the Bulls uniform the best of any Jordan.

OG Soles were open cell polyurethane and newer retros are closed cell polyurethane. Takes a little bit longer for new retros to crumble if at all. I will say, that I do miss the open cell, dyed soles. Not sure if its a possibility to dye closed cell, but it would be cool. I will admit that its an extreme request though.

Honestly the dyed soles were way less durable. The dye rubbed off pretty easy and you had to be really careful when cleaning the midsole.
