I don't think 7's crumble or at least the past few retros of the 7's don't because I'm pretty sure their midsole is made of phylon. If anything you will eventually have sole separation which you can just fix with glue.

I'm afraid of this. I'm shocked they haven't yet, but I haven't checked on them in over a year. I need to repaint the peaks and respray to restore the black. A project I still have on the shelf.

So for OGs next year we have Playoff 7s, Playoff 12s, Military Blue 4s? I saw a rumor about White Infrared 6s for 2022 back at the beginning of the year, but haven’t seen anything else since.
2022 looks like it’s shaping up to be a good year after we only got two OG retros in 2021 (NGs and Carmines).

Super late, but I'm a man of my word. They are hard to get to because I don't usually dig that deep in my closet (it's in the projects section), but here they are. Peaks were stripped years ago for repainting. Now I have an airbrush compressor, it should be cleaner and easier when I get around to it. Pulled on the sides to show tension and non separation. I did wear these quite a bit, but the sole hasn't worn down...

My favorite Jordan by far. These coming back would be really nice. My 2012 continues to get a white film around the 23 heal of both shoes. Tired of cleaning it off.
