they actually look decent. retros are cool and all, but how many damn times can you release the same shoes?

Team jordans arent selling. I'd wear a pair of these updated 8s before I'd set foot in most of the team jordans they release these days.

Would think about it in Black/Red playoff colorway. Strictly for the court though. I dig just about anything with cross-straps, but I've never liked the aqua colorway (yeah, sue me) and I don't really buy white shoes all too often.

Some of my friends hated the 2010 look but admitted they were super comfy and bought em for comfort and performance. Probly the same case here too, looks are barely half the deal if u playin ball in em.

Its not like your opponents are intimidated by how cool u look, its the performance that counts. JB IS a basketball shoe company and not a classic shoe rerun company... Right? Its not the original 8, its an upgraded version hence the point 0 added to it

it would be one thing if they can update the tech without changing the feel and overall look of the shoe. nike is full of liars (see: marketing "specialists"). this isn't about updating old tech at all. it is about gimmicks and ploys to milk every penny out of a classic, while simultaneously making consumers believe it really is about whatever lies they told.
