nah they need to look like this. And the red tongue liner NEEDS to be hidden or else the tongue wont look as menacing. They can easily do it, its just a matter of if they will. It would be glorious and hands down the best year for Jordan possibly ever.

If the tongue they use is wack, I'll just try and swap it out with the one from my swapped '99 pair. That pair is nearing it's end. The toe crease has started to crack the material there. Got a good 3 years wear out of them since the swap.

the 99 is the illest in modern time but cant leave out the fact how uncomfy them joints was (inside felt mad umcomfy & was murder on my toes during summer of 1999 rocking these...) not to mention was a easy cop on the ave (jamaica) at the time( sure it will be more of a hassle this time)....still top 3 jordan of all time to me

Wow. Always good to hear how older retros felt. The older retros get so much praise, I wouldn’t expect to hear any flaw. Modern 4 retros look weird but they feel great imo

People also like to forget/ignore the fact that OG 4s (and 3s for that matter) generally had a super jagged top of the tongue. No one would accept that these days, and that used to be a sign of a fake. So just go back to having the back liner not curl around the front, but no way do most of us want that god awful jagged shape!
