I agree mos' def agree the J. Crews would be in the top 10 collab of 2015. It brought the same type of joyful feeling i felt with Asics GL3 back in 2009.

You just put into words better than I did. It was this old school feel of excitement when I opened the box and I was blown away by the quality and the execution was just on point. J. crew classic right up there with the pebble blue 998's.

i agree with ya'll on the jcrew Blues. So simple and clean and such a good price and so easy to get. Although I do wish the QC was better but I guess you can say that with asics in general. Also it's good because I'm assuming they'll do more collabs

Yeah same 2013 J. Crew & Concept were hitting it out the park. I remember when i recieved my Tannery's, C-Notes & Pebble Blues all in the same week. I also remember the GR Asics was releasing in 2009 - 2011 really made me switch from Jordan & Nike Runners over to NB, Asics & Saucony etc..

I copped the J crews in store and was a huge fan of both- but for some reason I liked the evergreens better.  Its pretty much a nonexistent colorway- the only recent time I've seen anything like it used were on those burn rubber ginger ale NBs that sat for a decade and are still sitting today some places.  

In person, more of a golden yellow than a lemonade yellow, which is what made them pop for me.  I don't know, I might be on something, but I thought it was the better colorway in the pack.  Left the blues and grabbed the greens.

On the Bait topic, I know a lot of dudes who love that collab that don't like bait and don't care about limited.  Some people like the kinda weird materials they used.  Definitely not for me, I think they'll be a creasing and scuff "nightmare" with the all leather toe box, not to mention the yellowing I hate on my basketball sneakers. II can see the appeal, though.  

I just don't like them, and not because they're BAIT.

Unfortunately for them, a lot of people are starting to judge all their collabs together and on reputation and when that happens, the past collabs can start to cloud judgement. I guess that's what happens when you drop a few lackluster ones in a row
