Anyone have any recommendations for room dividers? My apartment is open floor and was looking for a bookcase kinda like this: https://scandinaviandesigns.com/products/haldi-room-divider

Just need one about 5-8 inches taller

You could get that one and add some legs to it. Harpin legs like this could be a good option.

It’s some reclaimed white oak that I found at a local recycling place. And yes, please go with solid wood whenever possible.

has any1 ever hung the flat screen straight from the ceiling? I'm slowly moving into my new spot and man it's kinda small but I'll deal. December 2002 is literally the last time I bought a television to watch cable/vhs/dvds and man it's huge, moving it was always a challenge and it suffered quite a few cosmetic injuries over the years from a few moves. side note, flu season has been a bit terrible in my neck of the woods, it's literally stopped me from swiftly moving into this new spot.

to try & save as much space as possible & be able to have the television close to a small space where I would sit down & eat, I would think a ceiling mount could/should rotate. I really don't wanna put a base in the middle of the floor but I'll do what I've got to. wall space is for bookcases/media shelves & artwork.

Congrats. The best I’ve seen for modern looks and still budget friendly is cb2. You can also check ikea but it is hit or miss when it comes to modern styles.

My items ended up being from Crate and Barrel, CB2, Article, Design Within Reach, Restoration Hardware, Gantri, Artifox, and Ikea.

Check them out.

I got a coffee table on Wayfair I wanna order. Idk why I ain’t pull da trigger yet. I’m not gone happy until in sells out :smh:

. When I order it I’ll post an update shot of it in my living room.

I got a picture frame Ima add to my wall mount as soon as I find a good pic to put in there lol. I think I wanna add some lil faux plants on it as well.
