Totally agree, show was good, but give me a ******g break, my boy Corey wouldn't come close to sniffing Topanga's dirty biore pads, let alone wifing her up and knocking out a kid.

Guys like Corey in high school got no play, even having Shawn as his friend wouldn't help...

'Boy Meets World' sequel scoop: Cory turns into Mr. Feeny?

Children of the ‘90s have been buzzing since Disney Channel announced last week they’ll be updating the hit ABC sitcom “Boy Meets World,” focusing on a grown-up and married Cory and Topanga raising their teen daughter. (Yes, they’re old enough now to have a teen daughter… feeling ancient yet?) And now comes word that the new-look series centers on an ironic twist: The adult Cory, who famously irritated his crusty old teacher Mr. Feeny as a kid, is now… a seventh-grade history teacher!

Yes, TVLine confirms that Cory will be following in his old nemesis’s scholarly footsteps, teaching history to his 13-year-old daughter Riley and her peers. And though original series stars Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) have yet to sign on to reprise their roles, this recent tweet from Fishel sounds promising: “Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided... Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!” (Way to keep us dangling, Danielle.)

That wouldn't be bad, it would force Cory to be more involved in each episode.

Not that it matters since I probably wouldn't watch a show based on a 13 year old girl.

Topanga is currently a student at Cal State Fullerton. I for one have a feeling if they do proceed with this, it will resemble nothing like the original. Much like the resurrection of 90210, Melrose Place, and Knight Rider 2000, it will probably bomb! Today's target audience that it would be geared towards will have no interest in it.

This show sucked after they got to HS and ESPECIALLY college.

Cory was the lamest kid of all time, not hitting it at all? You know Topanga was creeping on the low.

Not totally sure if want, but if they gather back the whole crew including Feeny it'd be great to see

It would be cool to do this as a special, like a one time thing, but not as a reoccurring show with new episodes.

I'm dissapointed, simply because once the show ended I always hoped there would be a follow up show about Corey and the gang living adult lives getting into adult problems a la How I Met Your Mother. That never happened, and now we'll never see them drink or smoke or actually have sex with anyone. They're just going to get paychecks for being the new parents in a show about a girl.
