Boy Meets World sequel

Yuck son, that's either heavy make up or she bleached her skin? Looking like a crackhead on the blue carpet :{

Hollywood will ruin anybody.  She got caught up

She wasn't even big like that though. She was a secondary character to a supporting character. After BMW I don't recall her being in anything so what, she was sucking off all those Hollywood dudes trying to get somewhere, didn't, and got a drug habit?

waits for full house sequel...
About who though? Olsen twins are weird as **** now. The other sister has had drug problems and the oldest one is on Always Sunny in Philly :lol

When did I say they were related? I said the Oldest twins are weird as ****, the oldest sister from Full House is on ASIP. The middle sister has had drug problems, that's well documented. I didn't say she was Sweet Dee or related to the Olsen twins.

READING COMPREHENSION

Maybe you should research before you post cuz the oldest sister from Full house is going to be on Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Candace Cameron:

What you mean enormously successful? We talking about acting. A sequel to Full House. They can't act for ****. They're weird as **** now.

Damn :eek. What the hell happened to Angela? She looks like a weird version of Taylor Swift in the first pic.

I think she was one of Pinky's ****** in Friday After Next, not sure though. That's the only place I (might've) seen her.

Stupid Eric in the college years were priceless. Took his idiocy to another level, he better be making cameos in this show. I believe he still does a lot of voiceworks for cartoons at Disney, DC Comics, Nick, etc...

That was when they ruined Eric. He went from a Super Cool Ladies Man with brains to a brain dead monkey. His only role in the later years was to say a bunch of idiotic one liners and leave. That's all he did.
You think the writers did it because the Eric character needed a change or because he put on some weight? He used to get the baddest girls in high school then lost his mojo during college. :{

The episode where him and Topanga try to go on diets was great.

I think they just tried to adapt his character to the story. In college, he kind of got lost in the mix, it didn't become focused on him much while on HS year there were time where it was all about him. It became a bromance between Shawn & Corey and about Corey & Topanga for the most part. Even Mr. Feeny became less prominent in the college years and the parents weren't featured much either.

A redditor speculates he had brain damage.

Ok...this is like a half-and-half between an AskReddit post and a TIL post..I'd call it an r/Revelation or r/MindBlown post, but as far as I know those don't exist...so I'll pose this as a question: Did Eric Matthews character from Boy Meets World turn into the shows fool due to Brain Trauma in the 4th season?

Allow me to explain:

OK, during the first 4 seasons of Boy Meets World, Eric Matthews (Cory's older brother) is "portrayed as suave and popular, this contrasts with Cory, who has trouble finding his niche in school."(quoted from the Wikipedia Description of Eric Matthews). But after the 4th season, "Eric's character devolves from a suave elder brother to an irrational moron serving as comic relief." (also quoted from the Wiki Character Description).

My question is...what caused this drastic change? My solution is that in episode 79, Eric Matthews suffered Brain Damage due to a blow to the head.

.

In episode 79 ("Easy Street"), Eric takes his crush, the wilderness savvy Loni, on a road trip to see her family during Christmas. They stop on the side of the road when she tells him she has a "powerful feeling", which (of course) Eric thinks is her way of telling him she wants him; what isactually  is is a blizzard (as I said before, she's very wilderness savvy).  They become trapped in the car under 5 feet of snow. When Eric panics, he tells her "it's my responsibility to protect you and protect you I will!", then begins to ram his shoulder repeatedly against the door in an effort to bash his way out...instead of making it out of the car, he accidentally smashes his head against the window and blacks out.

10 minutes into the episode later (I'm watching it right now),  Mr. And Mrs. Matthews answer the door to see Loni carrying Eric over her shoulder. He's no longer unconscious, but completelydelirious and...to be honest...he begins to act exactly  the way his character acts after he moves in with Jack (like a "irrational moron).

After episode 79, Eric's character completely devolves into the goofy, idiotic, and complete opposite that he was in the previous seasons. He sometimes acts almost too stupid for words...though other times his previous intelligence seems to shine through (though it still comes out in a childish and humorous manner).
That's a pretty clever theory.

Another redditor also offers this:
I've read somewhere that the show is in Corey's perspective and so when he was younger Eric was the cool older brother. But as Corey grows up he starts to see his brother and someone really stupid. This also applies to the absence of his little sister for a couple of seasons because as a teenager he would have wanted to have less to do with her. So it is kind of like the audience grew up with Corey throughout the show.
That makes sense as well too. The older brother when you're a kid is like a god, but when you become older and you're more of an equal, the relationship can change.

Or, the real reason is probably the writers found it easier and more fun to write Eric as the lovable idiot. It wasn't like Eric was a genius going to Yale in the earlier years, either. He just wasn't the same cool guy in college.

Those theories sound pretty solid however I think the real reason why Eric made that change was because Jack took his place on the show. Jack is an exact copy of Eric but instead of being Corey's brother, it's Shawn's brother. This resulted in Eric having to take a backseat and instead of writing him out of the show, they made him the comic relief character. I'm serious, watch some of the stuff he does in the College Years episodes. It's completely out of character, random and flat out insane.

I wish it was more of a mind blown post though :lol I love those. so much thought put in to them.

The one about the audience seeing the show through Corey's perspective makes sense though from a writing/narrative point of view.

I'll buy the theory of the show being viewed through Corey's eyes, because early on in the show they established it was from his perspective. Hell, I'm almost surprised it wasn't like Blossom, breaking the fourth wall, and such. However, characters just change over time. Look at Ross in Friends. He was a completely different person from Season 1-4 than he was Season 5-10. Nobody else changed much on the show, except him.
