Colbert VS. Stewart

Stewart & Stewart..

Colbert is great at satire but Stewart seems to have more grasp of politics which makes his comedy on it much better..

I like Colbert more because of his persona. Dude's improv skills are crazyyy. Anyone remember the days when Steve Carrell and Colbert used to do Even Stevphen on the Daily Show?

Colbert. Although Stewart seems to know more about politics than Colbert, Colbert is miles ahead in the comedy department. Stewart is a hit or miss with me.

They're both entertaining to watch in my opinion....Stewart- "smarter"....Colbert- funnier.  Funniness has the edge when deciding comedy talk shows.

Stewart is a coward and terribly unfunny. Colbert is hilarious (and a nice guy, to boot.)

I was at a taping of Colbert with a friend from Ireland who asked "Mr. Colbert, why do you pronounce your surname the French way, as opposed to the Irish?"

Don't know if he's 'smarter', but Colbert rattled off several facts about Irish history culminating with "Because I'm not related to Leader of the 1916 East Uprising Conn Colbert, MFer!"

We were impressed.

Stewart hides behind the fact that he does a 'comedy show' whenever he's pressed. He purposely down plays his own influence, despite the fact that the average college kid takes ALL his political leanings from The Daily Show. It's easier than reading a newspaper.

You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

Stewart's show is more informative, but Colbert's show, in my opinion, is a whole hell of a lot funnier.
Colbert carries his show by himself.

Gee I don't know. Start a Crossfire v. Hardball thread and you can discuss it there.
