I think AIM must be an American thing because i dont know anyone who uses that.

Ive only ever use MSN messenger (well now its live messenger) and GTalk. GTalk is good but not many people use that which is a shame.

Years and years ago i used ICQ as well but cant even remember my login to that now. YM never appealed to me because i didnt have any friends that used that.

What I've noticed is..
MSN = for Canadians (for all of my friends)
AIM = for Americans (for random cousins, friends, and co-workers in the States)
Yahoo = for foreigners (for Indian guys we outsource to)
