OP, I hope the bird is fine on its own, sometimes you just gotta let nature do its thing and not interfere, especially if you're not an avian wildlifeexpert.

I also hope you don't get sick.

Won't he have to pluck the feathers to keep the bird from sweating? Put him in a bag of seasoning prior to keeping him in the oven to keep it healthy.
 
I know here in the bay area there's a place where you're supposed to take baby birds if they get dislocated from their nests because they will die.Call a local vet and ask them what to do with as soon as possible.

Wrap it up in a blanket for now, that dude was right it needs to stay warm but he's asking you to cook it lmao
