GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

I went to Pure once, on my first trip, and it was just too much. Bad crowd, didn't like the layout. Of course I'd already been to XS, so anything is a letdown after that.

Next time I hit Vegas will be for EDC so doubt I'll have the urge to hit any of the clubs or day clubs for that matter.
However, love house music and EDM, but the last few times I've hit Vegas it's been Marquee (Don't know, but we just always end up there 

), hit Haze, 1Oak and the Bank.  Like I said, love house but it's not great music to vibe with wiminz.  The boombox room is money at Marquee, but it's a @%%!$%% sauna.

Hoping house/EDM goes underground again (

), 'cause honestly I prefer hip-hop when it comes to clubbing.

Since I didn't get suggestions wen I asked the question in here, I decided to go with Sebastian Ingrosso at XS for next Saturday instead of Aviici at Marquee Night Club. Hope I am making a good choice.

I am also replacing Saturday for Wet Republic for Tao Beach with Sean Paul. No guest host or anything at Wet Republic Saturday so I thought Tao Beach with Sean Paul would be more interesting. The promoter is telling me also he can get us in for EBC for Friday and then get us in Wet Republic for Sunday, even though I wanted them the other way around because I heard EBC is best on Sundays.

Hazeleyed Honey - You're not going to go wrong between those 2 DJs at XS/Marquee, only thing is Marquee offers more diversity. Just so I have this right, you're going the weekend of the 11th? As for the pool party stuff, I'm somewhat biased since even though people say there's certain days to go to certain pool parties, I've always liked the vibe at Tao beach even though it's a little smaller than most. Who is taking care of you at Tao if you don't mind me asking?

it's about that time of year again to start going to Vegas..

I posted last year about being banned from marquee and the affiliate clubs like Tao and lavo over a misunderstanding on a fake stamp.. Y'all think those bans last after a year? they took our pictures and photo copied our IDs FWIW.. Me and my friends tried talking to the hotel after the fact when we were sober but they basically said they couldn't do anything about it. And I haven't been to Vegas since.

does anyone have any experience with this? anyone have a connect? I'm shook and not trying to get arrested for something so petty

You should be fine. I just moved back to Seattle after living in Vegas for 6 years. You got kicked out for petty stuff and it's likely that the staff is different from last year. I frequented the Vegas club A LOT (like 3-6 times a week) and I was 86'd from Wynn properties for some stupid stuff. It was actually while hanging out with FLINTGREY while he was in town for a wedding.

Anyways, long story short, I went back the VERY NEXT DAY and had no issues. And, never even tried to stop going to those spots.

A year already? Damn...

I think it was his crew trying to save a few extra bucks by copying the stamp on the wrists while it was still fresh; they caught on and banned them.

i went to coachella and avicii played a recorded set.  he had audio problems that made it obvious.  never really liked dude anyway.

I know Lavo and Tao used the same re-entry stamps for awhile... it was a sun with a smiley face the two times I got in from Lavo to Tao

 I'm actually making that drive a week before you go... but the prices should settle down a bit since it's the weekend after EDC...shouldn't be too crazy. MGM might still have deals going for their newly remodeled rooms.

I am going to Marquee Friday for Cedric Gervais. But, like you said, from research I did, Sebastian would be the way to go. Can't wait!

A friend of mine urinated in the Wynn garden area (outside of the Dior store in the casino) and didn't get noticed by the eye in the sky. Would have thought for sure we were going to get tracked down.

Whattup NT Fam, looking to goto Vegas July 13-15 weekend OR July 20-22 weekend. Just trying to hit up clubs the whole weekend and have a great time with my boys. Not really looking to gamble or anything like that.. mainly just tryna chase females lol. Just trying to look for hotels that are affordable and in a good spot on the strip (close to the hottest clubs, etc). Any suggestions?

Stay at Mirage. It's cheaper and the only good nightclub it's not convenient to is Marquee. You have 1Oak (on property), Lavo and Tao essentially across the street, and all the Wynn/Encore places the next block north.

Nah fam...Most of my friends are trying to drive anyway. I'd be solo and not even worth it.

Considering staying at a suite either at Palazzo or Wynn...Its about 700 for 3 nights.

There are places that qualify like Riviera, Sahara, Imperial Palace and the club in front of Imperial Palace, Rehab etc...

But to say the entire place is  a $*!% hole makes me think you haven't done it right and partied in XS, Marquee, Surrender, Tryst, Tao etc

ive seen it all, homies dad a party host or whatever... place filled with fat !+*!$, poverty a block off the strip, overpriced crap, garbage DJ's, Ill take somewhere with culture or a beach please
