woah woah woah, he's a great talent and certainly proved that he belongs in euroleague, but top 5 in europe? that's kinda reaching, isn't it?Originally Posted by chikickz
He's already a top 5 player in Europe. He plays in the Spanish pro league. He's the number one pick in the NBA draft once he comes over.
He's a great shooter, a better passer, and sees the floor so well for his age. It's truly remarkable. He turned pro at 15. I believe he is 17 now.
By the time he does come to the NBA he will have logged 4-5 years as a pro in the Spanish League.
All that is true, but Andrea Bargnani was drafted #1, so I believe since he's being hyped up so much, I think he can go #1. I don't knowmuch about College Ball, but it's definitely a real possibility.Originally Posted by AIRJORDAN JB23
Analysts will overreact & overhype him big time. He will get a lot of comparisons, a lot of coverage, etc.
All that into play, it doesn't change the fact he is a very good player. Still very young, but very talented. He needs to improve certain areas of his game right now, but he has time. The fact that he's 17 & doing what he is doing is a good sign...especially if he keeps improving. Plus, he has a very good basketball IQ, which is always a plus...especially if he has it now.
All comparisons & hype aside, I don't see him being an overall #1 pick in a draft like some analysts have said, but he will go high & he will be a productive player. It will be interesting to see how he improves his game from what I saw a little bit of this past summer, to what he can do in the NBA in a couple years.
That's what they said about Chris Paul/Originally Posted by dfresh244

I've seen vids and he's good but he's not athletic at all

"To be 17, playing in the Olympics, that's truly amazing - I couldn't have done it," Team USA guard Dwyane Wade said. "He looks like a very tough kid, hard-working guy. Hopefully he continues to be hungry and goes out to be the player he wants to become - and not worry about being something that somebody thinks he should be."
agreed, he didnt impress me with his play at all...and he couldnt make a jumper even if he was wide openOriginally Posted by JordanNB23
He didnt do anything against the U.S team..I'm not buyin the hype.. To be a top 5 pick in a couple years seems a bit absurd
He's 17...Take any top notch PG currently playing in the league and at the age of 17 they wouldnt have done !**# against that US team.Originally Posted by JordanNB23
