Stern & Co weren't going to do anything to wade. Hater or not, that was a malicious foul by wade. There was no possible play on the ball what so ever. If they suspended wade, they'd run the risk of having one of their premiere teams bounced out of the playoffs & further exposing the mental ******. They'd have that poor man suffer a nervous breakdown trying to do things on his own.

Horry. Fisher. Paxson. Kerr. All of those players have hit clutch shots with Jordan and Kobe. It doesn't go to them every time but mostly. Meanwhile, you can damn near expect LeBron to not shoot, pass, or even be an option.

While your clearly wrong on the whole 2 minute timeframe. That is too big of a timeframe  to say Kobe hasnt made a shot in 6 years that either tied or took the lead. As well as the fact that the table im about to post has him hitting a game winner in 08'. You are Semi correct stating Kobe isnt as clutch in Playoff game winning/tying LAST SHOTS as a lot of people think.

Below is a breakdown of game winning/game tying shot attempt throughout Kobe Bryant’s 15 year career:

1996Utah JazzGame 5MissBryant misses a game tying shot with 4 seconds left.

1999San Antonio SpursGame 2MissBryant misses a game tying shot at the end of regulation

2000Phoenix SunsGame 2MakeBryant makes a game winning shot with 2 seconds left

2001Philidephia 76ersGame 1MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 20 seconds left.

2002San Antonio SpursGame 2MissBryant misses a game tying shot at regulation

2002San Antonio SpursGame 4MakeBryant makes a game winning shot with 5 seconds left

2002Sacramento KingsGame 4MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 4 seconds left

2002Sacramento KingsGame 5MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 8 seconds left

2002Sacramento KingsGame 7MissBryant misses a game winning tip shot with 8 seconds left

2003Minnesota TimberwolvesGame 3MissBryant misses a game winning shot in OT with 13 seconds left.

2003Minnesota TimberwolvesGame 3MissBryant misses a game tying shot in OT with 2 seconds left

2003San Antonio SpursGame 1MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 13 seconds left.

2004Houston RocketsGame 1MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 17 seconds left.

2004Houston RocketsGame 4MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 3 seconds left.

2004San Antonio SpursGame 5MakeBryant makes a game winning shot attempt with 12 seconds left.

2004Detroit PistonsGame 2MakeBryant makes a game tying shot at the buzzer.

2006Phoenix SunsGame 4MakeBryant makes a game tying shot with one second left.

2006Phoenix SunsGame 4MakeBryant makes a game winning shot at the buzzer.

2006Phoenix SunsGame 6MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 6 seconds left.

2008San Antonio SpursGame 1MakeBryant makes the game winning shot with 23 seconds left.

2009Utah JazzGame 3MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 2 seconds left.

2009Orlando MagicGame 2MissBryant has his game winning shot blocked with 8 sec left.

2010Oklahoma City ThunderGame 6MissBryant misses game winning shot with .5 seconds left.

2010Phoenix SunsGame 5MissBryant misses a game winning shot with 3 seconds left.

2011Dallas MavericksGame 1MissBryant misses a game winning shot at the end of regulation

But again. Those are just stats. That doesnt account for games that he brought the team back from being down big or other things that factor into why people believe Kobe is a clutch player. Which is why I dont like going off strictly stats. But I mean they were going to get posted eventually. So might as well put them out there and people can take them for what they are worth.

The play looked like it was not even designed for Lebron but dude was giving the ball away  Wade or some shooter a few possession before that. With his size and speed he can just take 2 steps and throw in one of those floaters he was putting up earlier. Makes no sense.

^ It's 2 at home, than back to MIA for 1 - than back to Indy for another, than MIA again if needed.

Indy technically has the home-court advantage right now, though.

Sure, you can say he should wave off his coach and Wade and call his own play there. I agree. But all he did was ran a play that was designed for Wade to post up on Hill, who can't guard him, and on the 2nd post up was deep in the paint. Wade just missed a wide open layup.
But on the last play, Lebron didn't even touch the ball.

The point is,  Lebron has to start demanding the ball from his coach and Wade. It's his team now bar none. Wade shouldn't interfere. If people who criticize Bron for not voicing his opinion on that, I agree.

Didn't they just not see what he did in game 1. 16 of the team's 25 points. 8 of the team's last 9 points. Spo is stupid.

Should be a good game today, can't wait.

Whenever I watch the Heat play I always feel like at any moment, Lebron can will that team to one of those demoralizing runs and steal the game (happened like three times against the Knicks). It's like even when the Pacers have a cushion in the second half, I'm still glued to the TV expecting it to happen.

Just stop bruh, Lebron had his opportunity prior on an iso top of the key and passed it twice....and then sets a screen for Chalmers. If anything Wade should be taking those last shots, both were awful final 2 minutes.
Its pretty obvious he wants no part of the final shot, and if that's what it is that's what it is....no need to make excuses it just makes you look foolish. Lebron is scared to even drive because he wants to part of shooting free throws.

Can certainly be hesitant to take a final shot or be assertive but actually walking to the line is not an issue. He's deliberately held onto the ball in tight games this year knowing he'd get fouled (Chicago for one example and he missed.) He's never been a great FT shooter so I even hate it when he does that.

Diislike when stats like "Kobe hasn't made a go-ahead/tying shot in the last 2 min for years" are used to describe something as abstract as a "clutch factor."

From an objective standpoint, you can't argue that Kobe is clutch. His belief in himself, his ability, and his shot factors into him being clutch, not just how many he's made in the last however-many-seconds vs. how many he's missed. Those types of stats just seem to be used to justify the "haters" argument. Simple fact, if Kobe had the ball against your team you'd be more scared than if Steve Blake, Pau, Metta, Bynum took the shot - no matter how many he's missed over the last 3 years. And Kobe being on the floor gives a sense that his team will always have a chance at winning a close game, another sign of being "clutch."

Sorry to feed into this debate. I really came in here to see the discussion on tonights game
