That old lady keep it 100 and said it to his face though - I mean, I don't agree with her, but I can respect that...
Yeah for real. She didn't backtrack or try to see she meant something else or nothing.

Anybody else feel bad for the dude celebrating his 40th birthday by eating lunch alone?

Yeah...
...but dude stood for what was right so I can see why.

Like, the _ hopped up on a father talkin' to his daughter...

...understand how bold that was.

You can be Mexican and still be white.

I guess you can say that about some Mexicans that are of french/spanish decent (Light skinned/colored eyes)

but the lady only said that because she got caught by the interviewer who was Mexican (looked like he's straight outta Puebla of Aztec decent)

1
: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

She never said that "whites" were better or "colored people" (as she puts it), are inferior. She just has a belief that people should marry within their race. I know a good handful of my friends' parents who believe the same thing and none of them are white, well one is, but her parents believe she needs to marry "a nice jewish boy", so would that make them racist as well? Sorry, but no it doesn't.
WHAT? so her referring to the white girl as "beautiful" and the black guy (Carlton) as "THAT" wasn't displaying her racial superiority complex? shes racist

"Separate but equal" lost buddy, so while it isn't racist to you, the united states court feels otherwise.

Some of you are so oblivious it's not even funny.

What about her referring to a human being as a "that", and a "something".

at their racism being exposed. Not surprising at all.
The mother crying because her poor daughter was probably getting rammed by her black friend. She was probably envious

I just feel sorry for people with that mindset and who were raised to have that mindset. That's how my ex-girls mother was (shes white). Shes the reason were not together anymore.

Definitely gotta make some stops in these majority white populated areas and buss down these snow bunnies just off of this alone.

This show creates some of the most extreme situations that cause extreme responses and expect me to judge people based on their response to this extreme, uncommon situation.

You know how you think to yourself sometimes, "I'm not really sure how I would respond unles I was in that situation"? I think the show plays on that by showing you a pre-set situation so you have time to think how YOU would respond to it, while the actual person in the situation is there in real time with only split seconds to respond, so they're put on the spot, you're in the comfort of your own home making decisions, and you judge them based on instantaneous decisions they make to these extreme situations.

It's only a small sample but it's interesting that it was the women that were so outspoken about it.

I went to college in the south and "I have black friends" who mostly dated white girls, it was sad to hear some of the #@#* directed towards them and our group of friends as a whole. Mostly good old boys who were mad that their girls were getting taken.

This was such a biased sample of people that I can't believe any of you are taking this seriously. Yes racism very much exists, but more-so in a town like that.
