i7 speeds are ridiculous. I doubt nothing will be touching them right now, besides those i7 extremes

I wonder if the Mac Pros will include an option to add in an i7 "Nehelem" extreme quad-core

just because you can achieve those speeds doesnt mean it is 100% stable
you have to run some stress test for a few days to see if it is stable enough
and even if it is stable, it will shorten the life span of your computer
I use to OC a lot back in the days and some hardware will always die within 1.5 years or less, usually the motherboard or power supply
YMMV

how can i make my computer faster, i got great video card but i still lagg when i play

damn op...my comp is faster than that and its not over clocked

nvm
edit: I'm doing good since i built this comp a year ago...and its only been powered off a hand full of times

Intel Pentium IV; 2.8 GHz; 1 GB ram

It's fast for the most part but would any of you care to share an opinion on whether or not you'd upgrade?

I was trying to OC my comp but never figured it out

I have an AMD Phenom 9950 Quad-Core processor, 2.61 GHz, 4GB of RAM

Im sure I have a decent comp but again, after I build this baby I never figured out the language lol. So if anyone wants to shed some knowledge let me know.Right now I just copy DVD's with two DVD drives which handle pretty well when both are running at max speed and multi task at the same time
