I'm really liking Renee in this show. Dude is official.

Gina Gershon is looking like a less pornographic Lisa Ann/Sarah Palin... Shes bad.

This is one of the few shows that is getting much better as it goes on, first season didn't impress at all. I like it.

My main problem with where this season has ended up so far is that it feels like I'm watching two separate shows.

There's no connection at all between Rene's Rasta Monsta storyline and Ben & Cam with Crisp. Now that the guys don't owe him money or interact with him ever, they need to phase out Rene's importance soon (though he's great, of course) to really focus in on Ben & Cam.

Capo getting caught up is going to bring a bit of hardship on the guys for a split second if he was helping to back them at times....but it's pretty obvious that the entire season is just building up for Gina's character to bail them out with some kind of hook at mass high-end retail. Of course, once Ben think she's only helping them out because she's into him (which is true)...he'll blow it with her and she'll pull all the deals and orders they have.

Also....Rachel giving Ben a LV trunk was one of the dumbest things to possibly happen.

too soon to tell dont you think. and i dont think watchers need to focus on that imo.
just enjoy rene's antics,

I wonder the interaction between Renee and Cam in last season's finale will come into play eventually.

Spoiler [+]
Rene forcing Cam to burn the Rasta Monsta truck for the insurance money

Show is actually getting good

How are you gonna smash your friends ex girl and then ask him if its cool to take her out to dinner?

I thought the store owner was ben baller too.

Agreed. He's got an authentic hustler vibe; him and Rene are probably my fav. characters.  Cam's chick is
grin.gif
, not into the red head look i guess. Rene giving his chick fake rocks
laugh.gif
.  Better than him shaking someone down though.  Cudi is low for what he did and I think Ben is more mad at the fact that Cudi is a dealer and got up in that ivy league P.  Ben even said they spilt because he wasn't career oriented.  What do ya'll think about Capo's $ situation now that his boss is under investigation?

Ummm wut...

Cam is his cousin and he still works for him and to top it off he's a loan shark you think if he needs/wants something from them it won't happen?
laugh.gif

Rene was that dude until he tried that weak move...chick seems down if he told her straight up what was good she would have given them back b/c in the end those orders getting fulfilled = more jewelry

30k on some earrings though

Doming was outta line but Ben mad she gave him a hard time about a not having a career...but if you think about Domingo has more money & connections than Ben/Cam. They'll need him before he needs them.

-I find CAM annoying as hell e.g. fighting in Nancy's crib, etc ... but i respect his hustle
-Ben got mad talent but
indifferent.gif
at him when it comes to girls ... clueless ... julie
pimp.gif

-I could understand shorty buying the trunk ... he did hit b4 she left ... she was mad hyped when she found out he was single
-
pimp.gif
at cam getting w/ the redhead ... they need to hurry up and bring back shannon
- Domingo approached it wrong ... but ben definitely od on rachel telling her they were terrible together ... what'd he expect ?
- Show is cool though ... not a fan of 25 min tv shows though

I love this show but for it to be taken serious I think the episodes need to be an hour.

I feel like yall goin in on Cudi, instead of Domingo.
Because they are.
No, that's the point. There is no Domingo. There is Kid Cudi.

Victor Rasuz, when I see him on TV,  I see Cam. And when he was in Lords of Dogtown, I saw, heard Tony Alva.

Same with Brian Greenberg. For 30 minutes a week, he becomes the character Ben.

Maybe Cudi's character is written as corny and cheesy as he's being protrayed, but I doubt that. It seems like he's supposed to come off as super laid back and super cool, but really he comes off as super lame... and that's due to BAD ACTING. That's all I'm saying. I'm not going throw Man on the Moon 1 or 2 away because the dude's a *$+%$# actor, I'm just saying he's a *$+%$# actor. Kobe was a *$+%$# rapper but the dude can shoot the rock.

Back off Cudi, Acting is not easy and to pick up a role on a rather small series is a start. Dudes on here whining like he is some A list actor, he is a music artist TRYING to act. I am not saying he is good but you don't need to be so critical. You sir are hating.

Ben even said they spilt because he wasn't career oriented.

And Julie tried to make Ben choose between his career and her....

What Cudi did was LOW. You can't do that to your boy....at all. True, she (Rachel) is single and pretty much used Cudi as a rebound, but that is #!@++% up on a number of levels ESPECIALLY knowing their history.

I still think Cudi's character is pointless. He sucks on the show. If I had a $1 for everytime he said "I got something for that"....

Take your cape off...dude is on an HBO series and you're saying people watching CAN'T be critical????  Give me a break...

I like Cudi's character

I actually really like the show.  The only thing that I hate is Ben and the female situation.  Julie was
pimp.gif
pimp.gif
pimp.gif

and they just wrote her out real quick for no real reason. "Ben didn't like her like that" not good enough for me.  Then idk why he doesn't just get back with Rachel.  I understand they want like sexual tension for the show but its super annoying when its so obvious.

Other then that

I just like Rene's character and of course his gf (for now)
Really hope something good happens to Wilfredo
Hope Kappo doesn't go to jail
That milf is gonna try to get with Ben

Cudi isnt doing bad imo. I actually like his character and its not like the acting on this show has been stellar to begin with lol. I think its just easy to point out his flaws acting wise because hes a rapper.

And then people would complain that there 'isn't enough/nothing is happening' or it 'moves too slow' in that 52-59 minute window. So it loses either way.

What it needs is a season order longer than 8 episodes. I don't think it commands a large enough audience and a strong enough brand to be granted the budget for a longer season.
