Im not putting my kids in ugly clothes son sorry. You can do that. I wont. Im not dropping 100$ on kickss and coppin the kid yeezys and gucci and ****. Nah. but my kids will be dressed nice and neat. Not like no bums.
Name brand clothing. If i dont put myself in payless, walmart clothes etc. than my kids wont either.

Not crazy but not what I would do. The shoes r so small on a 2 yr old that they'll look cute on the little one regardless of the brand. So why not save money?

Why and how is that messed up? It isn't like they responsible enough to take care of their shoes. Not to mention how often they outgrow stuff at that age. I don't see how it is messed up at all. So them wearing what you wear is how it SHOULD be? I don't understand the logic in that.
As I said, dressing kids fly = Parent cares how other people view their parenting skills. Nothing further.

it depends, if you have money to waste then by all means by him all the js and let him scuff em up. If youre pocket looking tight any sneaker would besides i dont think youre schild or the baby knows the diffrence hes out to have fun. When was the last time a 4 yr old said daddy i want those js, proably never.

weak. if i got the dough and i want to throw my 2 year old in some LV kicks he'll be wearing those.
your child is a reflection of you, and you like nice things, why wouldn't you want your kid to be at his best. if you worried about wasting money because a child grows quick then maybe you shouldn't have had kids in the first place.

if you got jay-z money or you got money period. i think anyone would buy nice things for there kids becuase they reach a point in there life where money dont mean anything. Or maybe the parents were brain washed thinking cheap clothing is good for little kids because they have no sense and they pass it on to there kids and they pass it on as well. or theyre financially strapped

Some of you guys sound dumb.
When you have young kids, a lot of people aren't concerned with brands....they are more so concerned w. 1) comfort and 2) if they look cute. If I'm rocking Jordans, do you honestly think the next person is concerned with what is on my kid's feet? You can EASILY put together an outfit for a child for under $30 and have them look every bit as good as you (or better) if you step out rocking some $300 kicks.
Personally, I can't even tell you 90% of the brands of shoes that my daughter has. If the shoe looks good, in the store, we'll buy it. NO hesitation. There are shoes we've bought from Target/Cartesr/Buy Buy Baby as well as Neiman Marcus/Saks. Store/brand doesn't matter.

First, I consider wearing JB at 2 yrs old more as ostentatious, nice - not so much. So by not having them, he will be a reflection of me. There are far better clothes and more comfortable shoes out there for kids made out of better materials, not synthetic leather and plastic. Like, DC said, its more about the parent's ego than the kid.
Also, im personally against commercializing my kid, let alone at 2 years old. Society will bombard him with corporate logos throughout the course of his life anyway and, above all, i believe its my job as a parent to warn my kid about how these companies are trying to set the trap for him early in the game, rather than help Nike lock in that lifelong loyal customer.
This is really subjective though so if you don't agree with me then buy ur 2 year old the J's, i won't eem be mad. yea yea i know i have a strong or weak or w/e sn to post ratio.

I stepped away from the keyboard hours ago. Finished the rest of "The League" on Netflix with my girl, had her gaspin' for air like she was in Aspen and I lost count, but really though, I was never countin'. My mom had numerous foster kids from newborns to 10 months olds to 3 year olds before she had my lil' bro and lil' sis. I was the one heating up their formula, giving them baths, reading to them, you name it. I was there unless I was in school or doing homework. Raising children is a lot more than a structured, supervised, statutes to serve to a standard childhood with a somewhat so-so salary.
I don't agree with DC much, but he's got a point. You just did a horrible job trying to explain yourself in previous posts and now you don't have a feasible explanation.
And as far as how you "structure" your children...

I buy my son jordans not every single retro but i do i also buy him all black vans evey couple months because they are a good all around shoe and look nice. My daughter i used yo buy her jordans all the time but now i kinda stick more towards girly shoes and sandals for her with an occasional girls jordan colorway thrown in

DC not everyone thinks that way. Some people wanna see there own kids wearing brand name clothing. Baby clothes are not expensive. If you dont got money for the baby than go shop @ payless, walmart, target, k-mart for clothes. Thats who those clothes are made for anyway.
