Right. My Cardinals 7s leather was thin as hell. Playoff 8s and Aquas were solid though and lasted a while.

materials are good, color matches my Carolina Jordan sweats, they don’t have silver tips cause they don’t match the black nubuck. They made the appropriate changes to match. And comparing to my 2012 Raptors which is the only dark nubuck VII I have, shape and materials are much better.

Could not care less about the first retro and couldn’t wear a DS pair at this point anyway!

Wasn’t quality of that retro terrible? Specifically tooling, etc. people complain about that 2006ish era lacking in comfort vs modern retros. I was in college and lacked funds so I didn’t cop at the time.
