This one was very polite and helpful.

Apparently gift cards redeemed on SNKRS cannot be applied to shock drops or launches. The balance can only be used for shoes that are sitting in stock.

Can you freaking believe that?

The moral of the story is this: Never redeem a gift card on SNKRS.

...it's like getting kicked in the nuts.

Got the notification from J23 and SL. Placed the order around 12:05 and then got the order confirmation email 10 mins later. First pair of 13's since the Flints in 05. The only other 13's I ever owned were the black/blue low that was originally released back in 98.

A gift card balance that's sitting on your SNKRS account can't be used on NDC, unless you still have the actual gift card itself with the number on it.

...then they have a way to switch it from one to the other.
