starbury looks GREAT in a celtics uniform although i highly dislike them.
ive said this before, but ill say it again. i hope he THRIVES in their system.

I dont care much for Marbury and I strong dislike the Celtics but I think this signing will work out great. Marbury can create his own shots, he'll be agreat jolt off the bench, etc. Also, I dont think that he'll be cancerous on this team knowing that he has a great chance at winning a title.

I see Marbury averaging around 10 pts, 12-13 dimes, 2-3 assists and about 4-5 rebounds and if you need him to play a different position he might be able to getyou a little bit more.

i still don't get why people are cheering AGAINST him. you have to go out of your way to dog the man, and people love doing it. putting in the extra effortto hate, i don't see why people put themselves through it.

Honestly, it's clearly the Spurs.

Tim Duncan + Greg Popovich = The best team of the last 10 years. The Lakers are a close second, but they have really had subpar teams post-Shaq era. TheSpurs have been there every single year.

They're literally the 80's 49ers of the NBA these days. You can pick them for the Finals during the pre-season and still feel like you're reallymaking a smart choice.

Anyway, I really think this is awesome for the Celtics. I mean, they're essentially replacing Sam Cassell with Starbury. That's clearly an upgradetalent-wise.
