You could have been the bigger person by ignoring the 1st incident. Not his fault the news or a past experience makes it seem like every minority is out to dosomething bad. first, you walked in there with a chip on your shoulder thinking that dude was racist and would think you would steal something.
second, you flipped him off for trying to assure the security of his business/livelihood/family
third, you came back to the spot. im sure its not hard to find another spot that sells some sour patch kids
then, you denied it when he confronted you about it.
shouldve just taken the L in the first place
