Xavier isn't sponsored by Jordan Brand. They just buy the gear and they get it embroidered with their logos. Most colleges do that.

Uhhh

The Colleges dont  BUY their gear, they are sponsored and get their gear for "free" in this case NIKE so Xavier and West Virginia (Coach Huggins is on CBS right now w/desean butler interviewed in a WV JB jacket just like the Xavier ones) Id guess that NEXT year Xavier and West Virginia will be a JB college just like Marquette

I'll make it clear once again about Xavier's Jordan warmups. They have an allotment with Nike that allows them to get Nike or JB gear. The allotment allows the school to get gear/sneaker/etc. for free from Nike or JB. Based on certain criteria (not sure what it is) the allotment will be higher or lower. How St. John's gets really nice stuff I'm not really sure but they were an original JB school. Just because a school has a JB warmup doesn't necessarily mean they are sponsored by them. There are many high schools and smaller colleges that have Nike or Jordan jerseys/warmups/sneakers and doesn't mean they are sponsored by them. Like mikeol said, you can just get that stuff embroidered to your liking. That warmup can be found on the niketeam.com website (aka the nike uniform builder).

As far as WVU goes, they are one of roughly 20 schools that are completely outfitted with Nike stuff (Texas, UNC, Duke, K-State, Syracuse, FSU, Miami, Michigan St.). Huggs has a personal contract with Jordan and is able to get new stuff from them as well. Huggs wants to wear Jordan stuff but because the contract with Nike it makes it difficult for the team to wear nothing but Jordan. The reason I know this is because I worked for Huggs his first year at WVU.

Should be interesting to see what happens next year with WVU becoming "Elite" now that they have made the Final 4. By the way, most of sneakers that aren't team issued i.e. Kobe's and LBJ's are bought on their own.

Congrats to Coach K and Duke fans out there. Very valiant effort by Butler but I think most saw this coming. Duke can also additionally and collectively breathe a second sigh of relief after Hayward's short rimmed out with the confirmation that it's highly sought after coach will remain with the University and not entertain Mikhail Prokhorov's fetish of him manning the sidelines for the New Jersey Nets (but seriously he turned down Kobe and the Lakers a few years ago, why would he consider a "fish out of the water" franchise like the Nets!?

...Courting Jeff Van Gundy is more likely!)...Lovely season Butler but even lovelier end Duke....Congrats to all. Now all roads lead back to NY for the NBA Draft and some very exciting prospects to declare their status' in the coming weeks....

Just for some more clarification on Xavier's uniforms; next year XU will start their Nike Elite contract(Like MSU,UCONN, etc.. etc..) so they might do a full switch over to JB which would be awesome.
