I didn't want to believe that Miles Davis went back to drugs after he claimed that he kicked them. I didn't want to believe that Bill Cosby did what he did, nor OJ. I didn't want to believe that James Brown was treating the women he supposedly loved like punching bags, that he would not pay his band, and that he too was smoking angel dust while he was inventing a new form of music. I didn't want to believe that Muhammad Ali actually got into the ring at the end of his career while on medication for Parkinsons, just to make some money. I also didn't want to believe that Kobe Bryant was stupid enough to get accused of what he got accused of, and also that Jordan was forced to sit out two years because of his gambling habits. Prince could not have been on drugs either. He would not do something stupid like that, not when his heroes all fell in the same fashion.
I never liked Jackson, and that is due to how he viewed himself. The skin bleaching, the nose jobs, the emaciated physique, yeah, some good tunes, could move a little, but that self hate and continued falsetto while off stage was wack. I believe he messed with kids, to what extent I do not know. But if you allow yourself to be questioned due to your behavior, especially without other consenting adults in those rooms, then you are an even bigger idiot than anyone could ever know.

Yeah, grown men taking wresting seriously and have legit wrestling fueled debates on a weekly basis are just as suspect as slumber parties

Has McCaulay Culkin ever come out and publicly defended Mike?

Yeah he has. Cory Feldman has always said Mike never did anything crazy too. In some of his interviews has told stories about cops coming to him during that first trail basically pressing him to say Mike did something and he was telling them no it's a lot other guys in Hollywood they should be worried about.

ya betta have that same energy for da king of pop that ya had for da king of R&B

They won't.

We know they won't .

Music too good.

It isn't that yall don't think Mike touched those kids, yall don't WANT to believe he touched the.

Let this had been anybody else, yall would have been cancelled them for LESS.

 I'm confused on why ya'll think these would be different crowds, or are fully aware and doing that social media posturing thing where you create this fake moral high ground.

Michaels self hate, bleaching, surgeries, etc were the direct result of the incessant menta, emotional and physical abuse he endured as a child. Just read Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye to get an idea of how being told you’re too black and not good enough as a child can ruin your psyche and self-image. I don’t think michael actually did it. But he had his weird behaviors which made him an easy victim.

I don’t believe he touch them kids either.

I do believe he hated how he looked.

Definitely bleached, add to it that he was changing his nose and straightening his hair...

I personally do not need to read anything to know what it is like to be Black in America, being told that you are not desired nor worthy. Many told Jackson that the path he was taking was one of cowardice and that includes one of his mentors, Quincy Jones.

"hated his appearance because his abusive father always told him he was ugly – so he got hooked on plastic surgery. “He’d always justify it and say it was because of some disease he had. Bulls**t,” he recalled."

I always refer to the most likely answer, he always settled out of court for a sum of money.

I don't have kids, but if my kid was molested no amount of money could help me sleep at night knowing I let a predator continue to be free.

That and whatever else Mike did with those little boys. Tea PArtys, Magic the Gathering Sessions, whatever. It is ALL suspect, and you know it.

Stop with this fake progressive, "Maybe he was just raised differently" nonsense.
There is a psychological component here that you are ignorant to. Michael Jackson was physically and emotionally abused as a child. He had vitiligo which further crippled his self confidence and led to him having body dysmorphia. Most of his life was spent in isolation. He couldn't go out and do normal things as a kid or grown man (he even orchestrated a fake grocery shopping experience with his personal staff acting as the shoppers). He was constantly written about in tabloids and surrounded by leeches (from record execs to his own family members).

But I'll let you try to normalize his upbringing and life experiences.

Black people have never, and never will, get the psychological help from the abuse we've received due to the color of our skin since the 1400's. The thought that Jackson's issues stem from abuse that he suffered through, does not absolve him from the actions he took as an adult. He wasn't the first Black kid who was told that he was ugly as a child by his parents, nor will he be the last to be ridiculed by even his peers. He chose to be around those kids without their parents, and that is an issue. He should have consulted someone before doing some stupid chit like that. The fact that he didn't suggests that he had an agenda and if he didn't, he was stupid not protecting himself from such accusations. You have this wealth, you have this notoriety, and you are going to have sleepovers with kids...WHITE KIDS, and you are Black?

That Bleach didn't work THAT good.

Anyone with a brain knows his childhood didn't exist. Do better with telling me I am ignoring it.

My claim was simply, his sleepovers and antics with the little boys waa suSPect.

If you want to discuss anything , discuss that.

But you won't tell me that I am ignoring his upbringing to fit your point

If you somehow find what is being said as some moral high ground posturing, you might want to rethink what has actually been typed.

If anything, the call for consistency is the only thing that has been mentioned by those you quoted .

I couldn't care less if you think his lifestyle was weird or suspect. Neither did the judicial system. But you co-signed the comment that the same energy should be applied to both MJ and R. Kelly when only one of them has damning evidence against them. All they got on Mike was a coloring book you can order from Amazon, porn websites on his computer (gasp), and the OG Super Soaker.

Cool.

We can agree to disagree here.

Man, this.

The lengths folks are going to NORMALIZE this type of behavior is baffling.
You don't find it baffling to see an innocent man be accused of child molestation and pedophilia when there's never been any solid evidence to back these claims? That's the type of behavior that saw people get hanged without any trial. Very dangerous way of thinking that is still present to this day.

You gonna cape for a random dude in your neighborhood w/ the same tendencies?

When there's smoke...
