I think these were before Flight Lites. Remember the Fab Five wore them?
When they retro'd them they weren't the same..

Definitely after the Flight Lites. Flight Lites dropped during the 90-91 season, Maestros came out for 91-92 and were the little cousin of the Lites.

I'm in 110% for a pair if they retro. Black/White pair and a white/red bulls colorway. Pippen wore these during the 1993 playoffs!!!! Love these!!!!

Making it even more bizarre that these have never seen a re-release, Nike itself three years ago acknowledged how significant the original Maestro is:

Some of the shoes Nike has not reissued wouldn't seem so bizarre, if it didn't also retro all kinds of crap only about six people even care about lol. I mean, you did the Maestro 2 instead? That makes a lot of sense.

Still got these at home. Bought em off ebay about 4 years ago while I was stationed in Korea. Had to get leather, the nubuck would no doubt be cracked. Had another white based pair, white/black/royal blue, but my wife threw one shoe out during our move. Surpised the Unlimiteds came back, wouldnt hesitate to jump all over anything from 90s bball with that iconic F.
