if it makes you monkey's feel better, Robert Randolph said a trade might be done by friday AM involving Stat, Shump, or JR.
Phil is eligible for executive of the year right? :nerd:

:pimp:
If this was 3 weeks ago and all the FA's haven't sign yet, then I'd be all for moving STAT. At this point, I'd rather keep STAT and let him come off our books.

I doubt he ever leaves the Knicks or New York for that matter. He loves this city way too much.

I am inclined to trade Bargnani though.
If Phil don't want STAT though….

I'd be down to keep him for the vet min and that it. He has to prove he can stay healthy in his 30s. I'm cool with what he brings on the court and what he doesn't at this point.

anybody think that trading for thomas robinson would be a good move? dude was a beast at ku. i feel like he hasnt been given a legitimate shot yet.

Come on bro, we have enough scrubs. He's a 15 min guy off the bench at BEST. I hate Jeremy Tyler, but I rather give him those minutes.

Btw, I cant wait for Cole Aldrich to be an absolute BEAST. Starting C :smokin

Why is he in Deebo slippers?

Im done with this team. Shannon Brown is the best.

Dude was a tank in LA, I imagine if we didn't have 146 guards on our roster he would've gotten a spot

If you say Robinson

thats what im saying. i watched some blazers games last year, and when he got minutes, he can play. idk if hes a starter yet, but he rebounds and hustles. honestly, thats all we need. we have enough front court scoring. we just need someone to hit the boards on both ends. id be happy if he can be a reggie evans type player.

If Phil Jackson was our coach, he probably would've found a way to make him shine. That's practically what he did during those Lakers' runs to championships when he was there. If there's one thing Phil Jackson knows what to do not named "ego management", it's making specialist look great.

Guys like Deven George and Rick Fox looked like rotational players

Yeah Robinson's problem is not knowing his limitations. Guy wants to be LeBron and KD but needs to realize he's more Brian Grant than anything.

Hit the glass, finish, hit a 15 footer, face-up drive here and there.

What you just described was NOT Brian Grant. Hell, if someone who can do what you listed above consistently, they'd be an All-Star

You just described Lamarcus Aldridge btw

Hmmmm....guess your right

Ok, hit the glass, dunk and stay out the way every other time

So y'all want to keep shump, add Thomas Robinson, Okafor and Josh Smith?

I thought we were supposed to be building a winning team?

Who the Hell said they wanted Josh Smith on this team? He's like the PF version of JR Smith--Cue Steve Nash "No Thanks" gif

I wouldn't want Okafor on this team either. I do think Thomas Robinson is young and can develop something in the NBA. Shumpert is due for a career year, considering he's 2 years removed from his knee injury, Woodson is gone and he's on a contract year. Shumpert can play half-way decent perimeter defense and has shown the ability to knock down the open three. I have a feeling he'll be asked to be those guys that hit the open corner three often for us.

josh smith might be the worst player to add to this team. the chemistry will be all kinds of ducked up. emeka is a career 10 and 10 guy. we could use some toughness and rebounding, as ive said before. id prefer thomas robinson over emeka, since hes younger, more athletic, and still has potential. other than those 2, what other true rebounder is available?

Thomas faces up waaaaaay to far from the hoop :x

Meyers Leonard, I haven't seen much of him
