Official 360 WAVES Thread VoL. Spring Season... Owwwwwwwwwwwwww

Lol whattttt... my sides need a nice amount of work. Waves won’t show up good on the side. Also need to do a better job on my lineup. I’m scared of pushing my ish back too far.

Went from using a sponge for a blowout look to cutting it down in December to get 360s. As of now though I have so much work to do :smh: I'm always tired from work and school so all I have now is slight scrambles

Just copped another curved medium Torino though so I've really got to push myself.

Think I'm curing my DS5 next month. Going on a cruise in May and I gotta have batman prep time to spin by then.

When you’re capable of cutting your own hair. Decided to step out of the wolf stage and cut my hair.

Don't know if I have the patience to retrain my hair for 360s.

Wouldn't say I've ever had full 360s, but the closest I've been was back in middle school.

What u using G?
A medium brush, soft brush, pink lotion, du rag and stocking cap

I always keep my hair laid... when I wash, i put shampoo in then brush it down then put the stocking cap on then shower and rinse my head with the stocking still on so that I don’t lose progress because every time I washed my hair, my hair would overcurl.. then after it dries on it’s own, I put the moisturizer in then rebrush then du rag it up

I get a haircut once a month but keep it looking clean with line ups and shape ups

My waves have gradually been getting better since I took that last pic I posted and started doing what I said earlier

I been stressed out for the longest and keep blowing off brushing

Need to chill out. Haven't been keeping up on wearing my durag either smh

Pink Lotion that’s it?

Pink Lotion that’s it?
Yeah I don’t even use pomade for real but if I do, I only use it in the areas I need to work on more and the pomade I use is 360 since it’s not thick and easy to wash out

I don’t put the pomade all over my head anymore

Consistent brushing gets you the waves not pomade
Definitely, but even now when I put a little in it’s terrible.

I don’t think I’ve used any really in a couple years and if anything, the pomade makes my waves look worse than just water and brushing.

I tried putting a dab in, just for some shine, and it made my hair frizzy.

Water >

Just got my hair cut down a little lower. Gotta fix the crooked lines and make connections, but I'm getting there at least

Finna cut the nappy top and jump in the wave game. Bout to order some cold label and a torino pro brush.
Spinnin for da summer :pimp::pimp:

Here’s everything w/ links just in case:

- I use my white #220 Torino as a lighter medium (mainly when my hair is damp or even wet, but still good for overall use), and my grey zebra #709 Royalty as a firmer medium when my hair is dry cause otherwise that **** feels like its scraping my *** and the yellow #230 Torino as a softy, has good pull. None of these are in stock anymore though I believe.. would assume the ones on Amazon now are gucci too though

- Here’s the link to the Royalty brushes. OOS currently but a new one drops every Friday https://brushking.org/collections/royalty-by-brush-king

- Amazon link for the regular Torino brushes, can ship Prime as well which I do recommend at least trying https://www.amazon.com/TORINO-PRO/b...451011&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=TORINO+PRO

- Suave Coconut Shampoo. Like $1.89 and I only use it like once every 3 weeks anyways lol https://www.target.com/p/suave-esse...g_7X7ZanG1UaUh6gjxBoCWV4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

- Daily Defense Argan Oil Deep Conditioner, smells pretty good and works well. You can find it at Dollar Tree too, but its in a grey container and I’m unsure on what scent it has https://www.walmart.com/ip/Daily-De...07691421503998134808&affillinktype=15&veh=aff

- As I Am Coconut Cowash. Recommended by my gf and sis  little more expensive but it smells good and its not as abrasive as shampoos are, think of it more like a cleanser https://www.sallybeauty.com/as-i-am-coconut-cowash/SBS-341214,default,pd.html

- Softee Bergamot Hair Dress & Pressing Oil. Honestly I use this as more of a lotion for my hair when I’m not using conditioners or cremes. It gives good shine, keeps your hair soft for a bit and its cheap https://www.houseofbeautyworld.com/...JUZYw3r9rmfx3J5N2hjoyxXch0zEU5HhoCokoQAvD_BwE

- Pantene Gold Series Leave-On Detangling Milk. I bought this when I had that sponge **** to get the naps untangled, but I still use it now as more of a lotion when I’m feeling dry https://pantene.com/en-us/product/leave-on-detangling-milk

- Creme of Nature Mango & Shea Butter Ultra-Moisturizing Conditioner. Around $5 and does the trick. It's right in between watery and thick, so I'd say maybe it has a creamy texture. Smells good and lasts for a while https://www.walmart.com/ip/Creme-of...35&wl11=local&wl12=51517591&wl13=1682&veh=sem

- The thot stuff  Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Difference between this and Cantu is that this is a lot more expensive depending on where you go, and in my case Cantu tended to flake up and crystallize in the container so this was the better option to me. Has a similar smell but it has good hold, just don't use too much https://www.target.com/p/sheamoistu...cus-curl-enhancing-smoothie-12oz/-/A-12239244

And just for some other stuff:

- Just a regular semi wide/ closed comb from the local beauty supply store
- Dollar tree handle mirror
- Extra virgin olive oil on nights if I feel like it before I rag up
- S Curl 360 Style Wave Pomade (unused yet but it smells good and washes right out of your hand unlike Murrays or whatever imo)

I have other stuff at the other crib but this is pretty much my rotation. As for durags, these are pretty good and shiny too. I stay away from mesh ones

You should be able to find these exact ones in your local beauty store but it depends, a lot of them only have spandex nylon or mesh ones

The tails on these might be short depending on if your like me and have a big *** head

This one is another one I have. The tail lengths are perfect for me

Just bought a can of 360 yesterday. I haven't used it since I moved from Chicago(I thought they only sold it in Chicago, where they make it) copped a new deluxe Durag and an extra brush as well

My best technique for the waves was always brushing in the shower with conditioner in. I promise you your **** will wave right up
