Did you use some sort of wipes with chemicals on it? That looks like the paint got oxidized or stain.

I did two coats, air dry between them. I used a old tshirt I made into small rags. I coated them pretty good, probably the size of a quarter per shoe, each coat.

My pair looks this way in a few spots too. It's because the midsole/outsole is actually clear blue and the white portion is painted. So it's where it's thin in parts I think.
