Yeah, the more I see these the uglier they get. That icy/glitter treatment looks awful. JB is really gonna give us a historical narrative to sell a fk’d version of Chicago 1s that come pre-glittered. Also, the more milky looking translucent outsole looks bad too IMO. And they’re gonna be soooo hyped it’s not even going to be funny.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the First Collab for a Latino artist to officially partner up with Jordan Brand.

He performed in these at the Superbowl Halftime show with J.Lo, Shakira, and Bad Bunny.

Yes the colors are loud, and they aren't for everyone, but they mean more than just shoes for some of us Latinos.


I've seen far worse sneakers from JB.

Spanish Music is now Global, J. Balvin has been killing the airwaves for the past 5+ years.

Even if you don't speak spanish, you may have heard "Mi Gente", even Beyonce did a remix with him.

Even though I wouldn't wear these, I'm glad I managed to get a pair just to keep as a collector's item.

I swear they treat the Chicago's just like the White Cement 3s and Bred 1s. They just keep selling weird alternatives, instead of bringing back the OG.

I'm not against new twists, but some (most) of these are just gimmicky cash grabs, that no one asked for.

Several versions of the same colorway becomes redundant.

True, hype can’t fix them. However, we all know that the hype is going have this thread looking crazy with people fiending for them, it’s going to have all the “important” people, “influencers,” and influential media outlets calling them all types of “grails” and sht like that, and the shoe is going to be IMPOSSIBLE to obtain. That’s all JB needs, and that’s exactly what JB wants.

Here’s what I don’t understand. Marcus Jordan just took to Twitter a few days ago & stated he hasn’t even paid for the Trophy Room 1s as of yet (there supposedly limited to 12,000 pairs). StockX was suppose to have deleted all pairs from their feed. He also stated there were some shenanigans going on at the Memphis warehouse but no worries, it would be addressed.

If all that is true, how are there still pairs being sold on the aftermarket? And better question, how is it this dude has about 5 to 6 of them...... already posing with them on IG?

This guy, for whatever reasons (maybe directly seeded from someone, maybe he gets fakes directly from somewhere (it’s not like we are able to physically handle his kicks for legitimacy)), rocks pretty much all early pairs on IG. Some type of “fashion” guy, with kicks and his “coordinated” outfits.
