patent leather never works on 1s. could've given us a nice black and gold leather Jordan 1 with a white midsole and black outsole

These and the Gold Toes are the best patent Jordan 1s IMO. If it’s not some combination of black and gold, I’ve never thought that patent leather on Jordan 1s was the move.

Nice pic. I always dreamed of and looked forward to the day that they retroed these with NA and no Jumpman on the back, but I was not a fan of the stitched on NA. Had they had a traditional, or even leather, tongue tag with NA, they would’ve been a must for me. As they ended up however, I passed.

It was a CW that I dug from the start. So years past by, and I found myself always searching for a pair.

Came across this pair on the bay. Took a gamble (vague description, vague pics, no box, no extra laces.) And won!

Did a deep clean inside and out. Pretty happy with my recent gem.

I always liked this shoe and it’s ties to He Got Game. Nice pick up. Still have mine on ice, and got them for super cheap.

Circled back for these & got them for a steal. Very impressed by the quality, super soft leather. & I know many don’t care for these, but I like the whole Frankenstein vibe. The hit of volt stitching through the tongue & back heel are nice little additions that you don’t really see until they’re in hand. Got a pair of volt laces coming in later in the week, I think it’ll look sick
